Our cat had an claw that was too difficult for us to get at with our cheap clippers so we took him in. Dr. Barclay was very gentle but efficient with our cat. He was informative but not too pushy like some vets can be with treatments and cleanings. The vet assistant (I can't remember her name) was so gentle but yet firm with our cat. The procedure was over very quickly and it didn't really seem to phase our cat at all. It was a bit spendy but definitely worth it for the peace of mind that your animal is being taken care of. We will definitely be back! Read Less

I brought my sweet boy Mojojojo in because he wasn't eating even after the Downers Grove Animal Hospital diagnosed him with hyperthyroidism. Turns out he had a mass in his colon and I had to put him to sleep. They were very caring and friendly and compassionate. Today I received a condolence card from them. Makes me feel a little better knowing they truly cared! Read Less

I also disagree with the reviewer who had a bad experience. We have used this clinic for all our cat-vet needs for many years. They were compassionate, caring and took great care of our 'kids". When one cat got cancer, the doctor explained all our options and took time to answer our questions. Yes, some options were very expensive, but he did not press us to go with the most expensive or least expensive option.Read Less
