Was just introduced to this wonderful place! My Jake was so sick Sunday. Was advised this would be the best place for him. And it was. Dr. Janelle and her staff was so caring. She brought my fur buddy back to himself! She took great time with him and diagnosed his problem. Jake has most definitely found a great vet! I didn't think I would ever like another vet after Doc Hockgraver passed, but Doc MacFarland is wonderful with our pets. She is kind and patient and works hard to create a positive experience as does the entire staff. We are grateful to have this option and drive a ways to get here, because the drive is worth it. I have been to other vets in Knoxville, Galesburg, and other cities in the area; none of them have gained my trust or impressed me in the way Janelle and her staff does. Read Less

Dr. McFarland and Jennifer are the best !! My furbabies are longtime clients of theirs (9 years). Janelle has looked after 7 of them over this period of time. We have a 15 year old Chihuahua named Roxy Marie that she cares for, with CHF. Yes 15 wonderful years and still active as always. Janelle's trained skills & professionalism has given us much longevity with our babies and we wouldn't take them anywhere else. We drive in from Peoria and always will. I chose to switch vets because the vet my cat was at currently just wasn't impressing me. I wanted her to go to a vet where the people ACTUALLY loved their job. I heard that Williamsfield had a vet and it couldn't have been a better option for us to try since it was closer to home. I have to say from the moment I walked in, I knew this was the place for my pet! I felt like most everyone there loved their job and the vet is FANTASTIC! Their "office" doesn't even have a computer or a fax machine. If their office equipment is this antiquated, I'm afraid to think about how dated their medical equipment and treatment is. If you love your animals like part of your family, do them and yourself a big favor and find a practice that isn't still stuck in the 1900's! Read Less
