I was very pleased with our visit today. I took my two ornery doxies with me. I called at about 9 a.m. and they were able to fit us in at 315pm same day. The doctor was so nice and the attendant was so adept at handling my babies. They were spoiled with treats. They were happy to quote me prices on the phone and were happy to add on a nail clipping. I got there at about 3 figuring I would have paperwork to fill out. They saw me right on time. We will be Devonshire pups for life! Read Less

This is the BEST vet I have ever been too! They took the best care of my Daddy’s little chihuahua! She has been depressed after losing my Daddy only 6 months ago and her mouth was so full of nasty infection! They did so much to help her and charged me $800 less than any other vet clinic in Anderson! Amazing staff!! I can tell they care about the animals and the clients!!! My family and I have had to look elsewhere for our pets' needs; because Devonshire is one of the most overpriced & heartless animal-clinics/hospitals you can find. When my cat was having trouble with his eye they told us to either get his eye removed for +$1000 or to have him put down. We asked if there was any other options and they responded with a "Nope! You don't like it go somewhere else." They were cold and couldn't care less about our beloved (1st) family pet of 15 years. Then they added insult to injury by wanting an arm and a leg (no pun intended) for euthanasia and body disposal.Latter my mom got 2 wiener dogs, but one had what we thought was a raised bump/fat on her underside... But Devonshire said it was a major hernia & we had to have her fixed ASAP and repair the hernia before she gets an organ pinched off. Like idiots we didn't seek another opinion, and they refused to do any other tests (because they're ALWAYS right on their FIRST look). Turned out that wasn't the problem and all the dog needed was some antibiotics and it went away in 2 days! 2Days!! Because of them we had a hard time parting with our cat, which WE took care of, and we couldn't have dachshund puppies.We had warning sign after sign of not to go back, but we did. We have a new cat now and I will NEVER be taking her to that shameless money-grabbing, organ-snatching, cold, unfeeling, grotesque EXCUSE of a veterinary clinic/hospital they call a "business." Do yourself a favor: if you love your pets go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else! P.S. The vet clinic in Middletown is totally worth the drive! Read Less

My dachshund and I just had our first appointment at Devonshire. He is a normally a ball of anxiety at the vet, but the staff did a wonderful job of making him feel as comfortable as possible, including some treats that he loved. I want to thank Devonshire Veterinary Clinic. When my dog was dying my vet of 22 years would not come to our house to put my dog down. She was a very large dog and we couldn't lift her to take her to the vet. Our vet's desk help told us they were too busy to make a house call, which was a five minute drive. I called Devonshire's and they agreed to come out, even though we had not used them before. Our dog passed before they could make it here. But I appreciate their agreeing to come. If I get another pet, I will definitely come to Devonshire's. Read Less

I want to thank the staff at Devonshire Vet Clinic for taking such good care of Baxter He had a dental cleaning,teeth removal and a growth above his eye removed.Baxter is 18 years young and they treat him so wonderfully. Dental cleanings are so important to have done.They can't tell us the pain they're in and we can't see it. I have brought all of my pets to Devonshire over the past 7-10 years. I recently brought in my new puppy and they made him feel so at ease. He cried for a while but warmed up when he was given treats and lots of petting. The staff is so nice and makes the visits go smoothly. I would recommend them to any and every pet owner. I am so thankful for the wonderful doctors and nurses that took such great care of my fur baby Kip. I have only had my fur baby for a short time. I had so many concerns when she came into our lives. She was a stray, underweight, no front teeth, worms and a massive growth on her side. I am on a fixed budget and didn't know if we would be able to afford surgery. I must say the doctors and staff put my mind to ease. I am proud to say that the mass is gone and she is on the road to recovery. Our first experience here was when we brought in a cat that was in such terrible shape I couldn't believe he was standing. When we took him to the clinic I really expected them to scoff at us and insist on immediate euthanasia. Instead there was honest concern and empathy. A will and determination matching my own to try to help this poor creature. Phantom came to know care and love. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, he did not pull through. We were unable to restore Phantom to health but the staff at Devonshire have managed to restore a little of my faith in humanity. So many focus only on money now but not at Devonshire.
