General Info
East Pines Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Boonville, IN. The professional and courteous staff at East Pines Animal Clinic seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for their highly-valued patients.
The clinic was first opened in 1975 by Dr. Benjamin Mauck and Dr. Jeff Mauck. At that time, they treated both large and small animals. They practiced together until 1988, when Dr. Ben retired. Dr. Ben passed away on Jan. 15, 2000.
In 1998, Dr. Traci Scamahorn joined East Pines. We remodeled in 2000-2001, adding on to the clinic. Since 2002, we only practice small animal medicine. In 2008, Dr. Sara Burns, Dr. Mauck's daughter, came back to Boonville and joined East Pines also. In 2009, Dr. Julie Weber joined East Pines as the newest addition.
We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, preventative health care and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. The staff here are wonderful and seem to really care. I've only been to East Pines once but i would definitely go back and would highly recommend them to a friend. I feel like they went above and beyond in the amount of information they provided me in regards to my dogs condition. They spent time to discuss with me other options for my dog and i never felt like they were rushing me out the door.

We adopted a pittie 5 years ago from a rescue place. She was so scared to come into the vet. She laid on her belly and wouldn't move. Our vet, Tracy, came and got on the floor with her and talked to her, kissed her and crawled back to the room with her. I'll never take my girls anywhere else. They are loved there.

All the staff is very nice and helpful. They all seem to really care about my animals and treat them like their own. I have used their boarding services as well and my doggie seems to like it. They pampered him with a bath and nail trim during his stay. They even helped me push my broken down car to the parking lot out of the way one time! Very kind and professional.

I really feel at home with East Pines, I've taken several of my animals there and they always treat us with great respect and dignity when I have to let one of my babies go. I was there this Friday and she never judge me and my decision that I made with my baby. She gave me meds to keep her comforter and offered me the chance to have a second opinion. I would highly recommend them

Was referred to East Pines for bilateral TPLO surgery for our ~120 rescue dog. Dr. Mauck and the team at East Pines treated our baby like their own. They took the time to explain every single step of the process to make sure we knew what was going on. We had doubts that our Eli would ever be able to walk and enjoy the outdoors again, but we are 11 weeks post op and he is back to his old squirrel chasing self - just like they told us he would be! I would recommend the team at East Pines 1,000 times over!!!

I can't give this place a high enough rating, 5 does not do it justice! We brought our dog here thinking he wasn't going to make it but Dr.Burns was not going to give up on Diesel! After 3 weeks of Diesel being gone at the hospital we finally get to bring him home today!! Words cannot express how thankful I am for Dr. Burns and her techs! Diesel, Loki, Wes and I are forever so so grateful!!

The staff here are wonderful and seem to really care. I've only been to East Pines once but i would definitely go back and would highly recommend them to a friend.
