Brookville Veterinary Clinic

Brookville, Indiana
General Info
Brookville Veterinary Clinic in Brookville arranges medical care through a unique system that aligns each treatment step with both physical and emotional proximity zones by interpreting pets' body language and recovery stages across Indiana. Every consultation starts by establishing perimeter awareness through observation of pets as they explore the space, noting which areas they avoid and how rapidly they adjust their movement speed. Upon initiating interaction, clinic staff examines body-system cues starting with fur density and external touch tolerance before assessing oral health and joint range along with abdominal flexibility. Equal weight is given to owner observations which include the animal's recent stalling before stairs as well as alterations in sleeping positions and object guarding behaviors alongside shifts in interaction timing with household members. Brookville Veterinary Clinic delivers intricate medical mapping services that encompass orthopedic planning alongside cardiovascular listening while tracking hydration and performing dermatological checks in addition to immune calibration and monitoring energy-rest cycles. Medical procedures adhere to recovery time protocols by dividing even short diagnostic steps to avoid cumulative stress. Noise levels scent layering and personnel proximity undergo adjustments based on the animal’s responses at each threshold. Post-care recommendations depend on behavioral markers which include the duration before pets reach their normal state and their chosen house refuges as well as the resumption or delay of social interactions. Assistance remains active via recorded visual touchpoints and optional sensory behavior debriefs. Brookville Veterinary Clinic extends its services across Brookville and adjacent Indiana areas by transforming each visit into a movement-based exploration where pets' signals are interpreted from check-in through every room transition, posture shift, and momentary pause.

Rusty went in for surgery on Monday, I had concerns of blistering, swelling, and a suture sticking out of the incision site, I was put off for more than 4 hours. Dr kept making sure he was eating and drinking ok, that was not my concern I was concerned about infection and him needing an antibiotic. I sent her pictures to her email she then informed me that it was probably just razor burn and the clip the suture with finger nail clippers that everything looked fine. I called and got an appointment right away with another vet and Rusty had developed an infection! A shot of penicillin and 10 days of antibiotics. They never shaved his area before his surgery and we were not provided with any after care instructions other than to limit activity and was never provided with a cone. I called back to get his record the receptionist was EXTREMELY unprofessional and when I told her she did not have to be so rude she said honestly I will be rude to you because you weren’t very nice here in our office or when you called, I never stepped foot in that office my boyfriend dropped off and picked up Rusty, and no I was way nicer than i should’ve been considering the circumstance and conversations we had! Absolutely 100 % without a doubt the WORST place to take your pets to! Read Less

Zero stars. Zero bedside manner. Our puppy had been hit and we rushed him to her. She was the closest vet to our house. We brought him in and in less than 5 min we lost him. She had little to say and as we were walking out with our lost pup I asked if we owed her anything, assuming she would say no because there was nothing she could do or did. Way wrong. She charged us $55 for an office visit and while running the credit card took a phone call that kept us waiting even longer. Read Less

I will never bring my poor cat back to this hospital. They gave us no instructions after she had been declawed. I've heard she's good with livestock, but she's not overly good with small animals. We took my husband's dog to her because he was sick, she spent the entire time scolding us about giving him table food (mostly vegetables) and told us his blood tests were going to come back very bad... they were perfect, but did we get an apology for the nagging? No. Out of desperation, we took our cat there a few years later and even though we told her she's a Manx, she went on and on about how we shouldn't have had her tail docked (she was born that way). My cat, at that time, had a weight problem and so do I, she made a comment about it and said just because I overate didn't mean my cat should. If my cat hadn't been so sick, I would've left right then. She didn't actually do what needed to be done for the cat, we were led to believe she had, and almost lost her because of it. Nearly $600 in vet bills later at another vet, she was finally better. To be completely fair in this review, she DID save the eye of one of my mom's dogs when it got popped out during a fight. But her manner is gruff, sometimes downright hateful, she has no tact whatsoever, and I wouldn't take my pets there again. Read Less
