My queen, Aphroditey, was have a horrible time during delivery. She was in labor for almost twelve hours. The first kitten was still born, and another kitten was stuck in her birth canal. It's ear was all you could see. My siblings and I tried to help her by rubbing her tummy gently, with no prevail. We called vet after vet. We finally reached out to Saint Francis Pet Hospital in Camby and they took her in immediately. The staff was so kind and loving towards her. She is going to be seven this year and so a c-section was very unnerving; however, she is home now recovering. The baby passed away inside her canal, which was expected after such a long birthing process. My heart is broken for both babies, but Saint Francis has given Aphroditey a fighting chance to survive. We aren't out of the woods yet, but if it wasn't for their kindness, she wouldn't have this chance to survive. I will never ever be able to thank them for all of their help and love through all they did for my sweetheart, Aphroditey. If you're looking for a vet and are unsure, I promise you, the staff at the Saint Francis Pet Hospital in Camby will care for your furry baby with unconditional love and tremendous care. I love this office. The staff is super friendly and they really are tge type of people you can trust leaving your loved pets with. Chelsea has been the one employee I've always went to or made sure she was there for my cat. She is super funny and loves animals. The staff here has always been great for all the dogs we have ever owned. They always get us in quickly if need be, they send reminder post cards for vaccines, and are usually running specials for preventative meds like flea and heartworm. When we had a pet pass, they gave us a room to let us say out goodbyes for as long as we needed and gave us a certificate that included a poem, inked paw print of our dog, and clipping of his fur. They offer a wide variety of services and truly care for the animals they attend. In house pet grooming service is also located here as a separate business, Pat's Grooming. They have a small inventory up front that offers puchase items such as collars, leashes, shampoo, nail clippers, dental supplies, etc. Pricing is fair for the value of service. You could find more inexpensive places but these nurses and vets bring more to the table than just a quick get in and get out routine. Read Less

I've moved four times in the last two and a half years, and I've been to three different vets, and Saint Francis Pet Hospital is by far the best one I've entrusted my two fur babies' health with. This past July my Lab, Franklin, got hurt playing fetch. Not sure where to go, since I was new to the area, I read the reviews for Saint Francis and decided to make an appointnent to see what was wrong. My appointment was with Dr. Bob and he inforned me that Franklin had torn his ACL, so we talked and I decided to go through with surgery. Dr. Bob did an amazing job with the surgery, but that isn't what truly impressed me.. the way he allowed me to spend extra time with Franklin after hours the day of his surgery, the post surgery check ups, and everyone's friendliness is what made me truly happy with this place. Dr. Bob and Kendal are truly a blessing to Franklin and I. Franklin looked forward to his weekly vet visits, all I had to say was "Are you ready to go see Dr. Bob and Kendal?" and he got so excited and headed straight for the door. The love and affection they gave my baby truly touched my heart. Everyone at this location are true professionals and really do have your babies best interest at heart! It's been almost two months since I've been there, which is good because it means my baby is recovering and doing great. If you are looking for a vet to entrust your fur bavies health in, I hope you give Saint Franscis a try because they won't let you and your fur baby down. I took all my pets here at the same time. I loved the vet and so did my pets. She listened and was very nice with them, where I've had other vets become annoyed with the size and level of energy, she was great and the vet assistants were all nice a well. Prices were fair. Read Less
