Great first visit! Everyone was super friendly and worked well with the dogs to try and ease their fears of being at a vet. The Dr. was very personable and did a great job working with two big dogs. We love this veterinary office! We have three small dogs and I always feel like the doctors and staff are completely welcoming and patient with all of them. We use the PetCare plans so that we can budget out their regular care and it's so nice to have that option. I tried this vet clinic as my current vet was 30 minutes away and I wanted to find another place closer to home.  Initially, I was very happy with the service.  They get you in the door with a free exam but I have found that after that, it really felt like a money grab.This place is overpriced. The ran extra and unauthorized tests to run up the bill.  I had exams where the doctor didn't note what we talked about then forgot. I sent previous veterinary records the vet didn't even review. Although customer service was good during my initial visits, the last year the front office staff was rude and not helpful. Nobody ever called with lab results, I had to call them.When I see inconsistencies, I am suspicious and this place is real good with marketing and putting on a front but I saw red flags.....Like including the lack of attention to detail such as no notes about the meds my dog was on during the January exam-no calls about results of blood work-and lack of helpfulness that make me not trust this place.  Where there is smoke,there is fire and with the lack of attention to detail on record keeping and dishonesty, no way would I trust my dog there-they simply don't put the dogs first and are in it for the money. We moved here from out of state and our 17 year old cat got very ill. The staff and vets here are great, and took good care of US, and our baby. He had to stay overnight a few nights and the facilities here are clean and caring. They even sent a pic of Bucky while he was there because I missed him!.... Highly recommend Read Less

Dr.Paul and staff blew me away with how much passion they have. Some will ask why, some will understand, but we brought our guinea pig Rosie in for emergency care. They did not question, they took her right in and started treatment. It was a long day, because they happened to be super busy this Saturday, but that did not stop Dr. Paul and his crew from trying to save our tiny fur baby. After 5 hours Dr.Paul faced us with a hard decision, put Rosie down, or take her home and see how she responds. It is never easy asking or answering this question, but Dr.Paul asked it in the best and gentlest way possible (keeping my girlfriend from shedding tears). We decided to see how to responded to treatments and take her home, with Dr.Paul on standby ready to fight this thing to get Rosie back up and running. After we got home, and we syringe fed her a couple times, Rosie passed away. Dr.Paul mentioned he wanted us to call him on Monday (now Saturday) to tell him how Rosie is doing. Well after a long weekend, we forgot to call, but guess who did not, Dr.Paul called us. After the new I came home from work and found a card from them. It was a sympathy card that had three personalized notes in it from all Docs that where there and helped. Needless to say, I will never take my animals anywhere else and this place will forever have a great impression on me, and for that Sherlock Bones, I thank you and your staff for being such a great and supporting figure! They treat your pet with the utmost respect. My dog was a regular, but one of my cats suddenly fell ill. She was not a regular. Needless to say, she had to be put to sleep. The Dr and staff were so kind and compassionate. They didn't even know her and they sent a sympathy card signed by staff. Still makes me tear up!! Excellent team! Read Less

Excellent facility that has outstanding reputable veterinarians. They don't overbook appointments and give time to thoroughly give needed time for appointments. They listen to your concerns and answer all questions. They have very skilled and caring technicians. I started taking my dog here last year when he started having allergy problems. The staff is wonderful, they are so flexible if I need to drop him off in the morning and pick him up later, and they're very up-front about the medications they gave him- both what to expect, possible side effects, and cost. I had to take my two guinea pigs to Dr Paul at Sherlock Bones Animal Hospital.  They both had skin lesions, a couple of them bad, and also needed their nails trimmed.  Many vets wont treat GPs, but will only trim nails and file down incisors.  I found Dr Paul through Windemere Animal Hospital (its sister hospital)...Windemere is well-rated.  I was very very pleased with the entire experience.  Dr Paul and his assistant obviously have a strong affinity for animals  and handled my piggies and their diagnoses and treatment gently and thoroughly.  They both were loving and tender with them and explained the problem and the treatment thoroughly.  I would highly recommend them and the hospital...and i am a very picky pet owner indeed!
