I just wonder what happened to the good ole days when vets worked to help pets... daughter found a 4 week old kitten after work and called and brought it in. They said they should be able to fix it so...
I just wonder what happened to the good ole days when vets worked to help pets... daughter found a 4 week old kitten after work and called and brought it in. They said they should be able to fix it so she agreed to a deposit towards surgery. They called her awhile later to say that they couldn’t fix the kitten and get its intestines back inside so they euthanized it. So $210 dollars later for a stray that they should have just euthanized from the beginning. Wish Dr. McDonald was still around he was affordable and did not try to just take your money.

Very polite and saw my Jack in a half hour of him jumping and injuring his little leg. They were very gentle and caring people. We see them again Monday.

I would say that the place was competent. Although I wasn't even sure I was speaking to the vet since he never introduced himself to me. Front desk was very professional very clean inside as well

Very compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were able to fit my pet in on short notice without any issues.The office is very neat and clean. Highly recommended.

My dog nova, broke her Leg. They immediately got her in there, and they were actually recommended by RidgeView vet. &, they told me that he does it for the love of animals not for money. Its so true. ...
My dog nova, broke her Leg. They immediately got her in there, and they were actually recommended by RidgeView vet. &, they told me that he does it for the love of animals not for money. Its so true. They are my main vet now for sure. I would highly recommend this vet for anything. He is awesome. They care about your animals, and you. & they are good prices as well, not way over priced!

I just want to say how thankful I am for finding such a wonderful veterinary hospital the staff is so friendly and welcoming and helpful it makes you feel like you are apart of their family. They truly care about your pets and provide amazing services and take time to talk to you and explain everything in detail so I understand what is going on with my pets. I highly recommend coming here and experiencing what I have experienced and meeting the wonderful people at the Old Capital Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Towsley, Bob at the front desk and all staff are very caring and considerate. They made our cats as comfortable as possible, for cats being boarded (we all know how much cats like being away from home). When our newest kitty was very sick, they monitored him closely and took good care of him.

I have to say I have been to several different veterinary hospitals in the area. No place has shown my animals the amount of care and love that this place did. There staff went above and beyond for my animals. I would recommend this place to anyone. I especially want to thank Carla, Pat and Grant for all the assistance they offered my animals. Thanks again and you have a lifelong client with me!!!
