Danville Veterinary Hospital

Danville, Indiana
General Info
Danville Veterinary Hospital is a full-service practice that offers quality and compassionate veterinary care to pets in the greater Danville area. The clinic is located in Danville, United States and is known for being highly professional and reliable, as well as supportive to both pets and their owners. The expert team provides personalized wellness programs, regular health evaluations, and a broad range of treatments. Services often include Anesthesiology, Emergency Care, Nutritional Counseling, Cardiology, Surgery, Pain Management, and Laboratory. The treatments are carried out with attention to detail, focusing on both prevention and management. The practice is well-equipped, and the animals are comfortable enough for accurate diagnosis and treatment to be done. Clients often praise the attentive and caring staff for their excellent communication which promotes long-term trust and loyalty. Danville Veterinary Hospital continues to thrive as an integral part of the Danville pet community. The clinic’s professionals are always ready to help, whether a pet needs help to start life on a healthy note or deal with the various effects of aging. Their love for animals is also evident as they continue to pursue further education and keep up with the latest veterinary studies and improvements. This ensures that every pet gets the best possible care. It also positions itself as a strong advocate of pet companionship by engaging the community in responsible pet ownership. Across Indiana families in Danville trust Danville Veterinary Hospital to design veterinary care as an environmental experience determined by movement, sound, and spatial factors. Initially, observers spend a few minutes merely looking at the puzzle with no physical interference. The personnel monitors how pets explore the corners as well as how they respond to faint noises and reposition themselves based on movement. The diagnostic flow experiences real-time customization. When pets hold their breath during applanation or neck contact, team members adjust lab work sequence. The way a pet behaves to the wind, sleeps and changes positions at night, and how often it initiates contact at home is invaluable information that could enrich any medical decision. Danville Veterinary Hospital offers an array of services, which include diagnostic testing, pain modeling and mobility screening alongside environmental allergy assessment and preventative planning as well as the long-term stabilization of chronic conditions. Distributing services in the timeslots and combining them with decompression breaks will be helpful for the animals healing from trauma or overstimulation. “Pacing” and “communication around results” flow from the integration between the “time of day” pattern and the “home social environment.” The follow-up appointments are not determined by dates but by the pet's recovery which makes it more complex and unnatural. They eventually notice some irregularities in their cats’ post-stay stride, as well as the delayed extent of vocalization and stretching. Communication is always available when routines are ready to be modified or when symptoms start creeping due to their changing nature. Danville Veterinary Hospital, located in Danville, Indiana, offers veterinary services to the surrounding area by understanding and respecting the subtle cues pets and owners give with each heartbeat, movement, and brief look.

We have 4 dogs and they are all getting older and all have health issues so we have been in quit a bit over the past few months. We have actually been patients of Dr Crystal and Dr Shelly as well and feel like the quality of care is outstanding with all three doctors. The vet staff(techs) are amazing and answer all of our questions and are great with our fur babies. Lorrie and Brittany are great at what they do! They are always cheerful and kind. My wife took my dog to have his yearly exam done. These people should not be considered professional by any means. They told my wife my dog had anxiety and should take these pills which was Tazodone. 10 pills for $18. Their exact words were "we will just give some to you" instead of saying the script is $18 would you like to try them. I called to ask for a refund but they said they were sorry for "your wife's misunderstanding ". My dog has always acted that was and most dogs do act excited or stressed when going to the vet. We have taken our Yorkies to Dr. Crystal for several years now. The employees at the clinic have always been professional and treated our pets with loving care. During times when we "lost" our loved ones, the family at the clinic were sympathetic and took the time to help us with necessary arrangements. After shopping around trying to find some tapeworm medication for cats (Craig and Django) to no avail. Banfield in Avon wouldn't sell me any without my cats being brought in for $39.99 EACH just to confirm that my cats did, in fact, have tapeworms. So I checked the rest of Petsmart and they were sold out of the over the counter stuff. I called Petsmart in Plainfield and they too, were sold out. Went and checked out Speck's Pet Supply and they unfortunately just sold their last one. So I figured "eh, why not?" And called Danville Veterinary Hospital to see if they would sell me tapeworm medication over the counter. Sure enough, they would! If you live anywhere on the west side, this is THE place to take your furry loved ones. I live downtown now and still trek out to Danville because Dr. Crystal is the absolute best. She is knowledgeable and most importantly compassionate. She truly cares about your pets and will care for them as if they are her own. I have an elderly dog who still gets into things like she is a puppy. We had a scare one morning when I awoke to discover my angel had eaten an entire bottle of her arthritis medication (I call this her suicide attempt). Dr Crystal and her staff were amazing at accommodating us into their already busy schedule and my mind was eased that Dr Crystal would be caring for her as she stayed overnight for an IV and observation. I was prepared for the worst, but my baby girl made it through and Dr Crystal has made sure we are able to continue to make my old dog comfortable and have a good life as her health begins to decline and we near the end. I thank Dr Crystal for helping my dog reach the ripe age of 15 next month. This clinic truly is top notch! Read Less

Went and checked out Speck's Pet Supply and they unfortunately just sold their last one. So I figured "eh, why not?" And called Danville Veterinary Hospital to see if they would sell me tapeworm medication over the counter. Sure enough, they would! So I brought my cats in and registered them to be seen at DVH from now on and paid LESS for the same medication that I would have got from PetSmart. From what I can tell, DVH is a great place and I'll be taking my pets there from now on! Read Less

I brought my cat in to see Dr. Strahla because his body was shutting down. He was struggling to breathe and needed to be sent to kitty Heaven. Oscar was 19 years old and had been with me through all the hardest times in my life. Dr. Strahla did a wonderful job with Oscar, and the staff was very nice also. Crystal was extremely compassionate and made and make an excruciatingly difficult time easier. Definitely worth the hour drive! My husband put it best, "I hope her business grows as big as her heart." Read Less
