On March 16, 2023 Dr. Vivian Ramos saw my dog, Toby, for an annual exam. She diagnosed him with a cavity stating the hole was so large she “could park a truck in” it and recommended an extraction. I was made to think my dog was in pain due to a very large cavity and felt compelled to follow veterinary recommendations. On April 10, 2023 Sarah Ganster under Dr. Ramos’ supervision saw Toby for the extraction. When my husband picked Toby up, he was informed no extractions had been completed and was charged $429.39. I immediately called for clarification. The front desk transferred me to Sarah who was very rude and demeaning. I was then transferred to Dr. Ramos who showed no empathy. I was then transferred to the manager Mandy who offered another “complimentary” exam in 2+ weeks to clarify the misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis of a cavity. After having to reschedule due to my infant being ill, on May 10, 2023 Dr. Ramos saw Toby for the follow-up exam and confirmed he did not have a cavity and the tooth did not need to be extracted. Because my dog was misdiagnosed and I was charged $430 for a treatment I would not have opted for had I received accurate information, I requested a refund. Mandy told me either Dr. Ramos could perform a “complimentary” dental prophylaxis on one of my other dogs (all 3 other dogs have seen Dr. Kilbane in the last 2 months and he did not recommend this for any of them) OR they could refund me BUT would refuse to see any of my animals again. I would not allow Dr. Ramos to treat another one of my dogs. I again requested the refund and a letter from the practice stating they acknowledged my dog was misdiagnosed and the charge should be refunded but they would force me to find a new vet. Mandy stated Advent’s lawyer would have to write the letter and check, but I was able to obtain all of my pets’ vet records before leaving. Fortunately, we were able to drive straight to another vet’s office and make appointments to establish all 4 of my dogs as clients there. I told Mandy I would contact her next week if I hadn’t heard from her about the letter and check. I would not recommend Dr. Ramos as a competent vet, but I would have highly recommended Dr. Kilbane until he revealed his character during this situation. We have been clients for 5 years and I am extremely disappointed in this practice.

DR. RAMOS IS AMAZING!!! I've been waiting for a vet like her for my cat's entire life! Her level of analysis and the manner in which she goes about conducting it are second to none. She exudes compassion with her every word and movement, and I feel truly grateful to have found her. The rest of the staff, Julie and some beautiful woman with locks behind the counter (call me!) were all incredibly kind and welcoming as well. Prices were quite fair. Do not hesitate to trust this fine team with your animal friend :)

Dr. Kilbane is amazing!!! My previous vet could never find out what was wrong with my sweet kitty and basically thought I was just paranoid and so he tossed diagnoses at me! I was tired of getting the run around and so a friend suggested Dr. Kilbane. I felt immediate warm vibes and that he truly loves his job working with animals! He listened and did not disregard me!! Most vets rush in and out of the room during and after exam but he makes you feel like your animal is his only patient....taking his time and also making sure you understand the plan of care!! He helped my sweet baby!!! We now have a new vet!!! :)

My chiweenie was in pain and no vets in my area would see new patients on Saturday. I called Advent and got her in quickly. Dr. Ramos was awesome, diagnosed her within 10 minutes. An xray, IV meds and some meds to take home and she's feeling better. She had a slipped disc. The staff was also excellent and not at all concerned with my kids being in the room. The tech even invited the kids in.

I just recently found Dr. Ramos and we (me, Phoenix and Bella) love her! She's very thorough and you can tell she really loves what she does. For some people it's just a job, and for some it's a calling. In her case it's definitely the latter. The staff are pleasant to work with as well. Going to the vet is a wonderful experience all around. I am so glad Advent was recommended to me!

Thank you Dr Ramos and staff for all the love, patience and care you had given to all my babies. Apollo and his broken leg and having to replace many. Thank you all so much splints, for Tigger and recommending his diet, he still is skinny, but getting stronger, he even took a few steps Friday!! For Denver for making his smile so bright, for Ginger for removing a small mass and making her teeth white again, and most of all for Baby Girl when no one else would do anything for her because of her heart murmur. You took the time to assess her and she did wonderful with the dental and mass removals. Praise God she is going to feel so much better. Thank you all so much!! The babies all say hi and they love you al!

We are grateful for both Dr's. Ramos and Kilbane. A few weeks ago, our little yorkie, Tucky, was critically ill with the liptosporosis and a couple of other organisims. After 4 days and nights in the vet hospital, and under the careful care of Dr. Ramos, who consulted with outside medical providers, Tucky's labs are back to perfectly normal. (She was his first vet when was a puppy 13 years ago!) Dr. Ramos is now treating Wallace, my eldest Bichon, for gall bladder trouble and possible kidney failure. Will know more tomorrow after his appt with her. Advent is the best in town to provide any type of treatment for your pets. The Dr.'s and staff are all outstanding! We can't praise them enough!

This place is great. Dr Kilbane is amazing, he takes the time to listen to you and explain things to you. You can really tell he likes his career and the animals. A lot of vets I have gone to kind of look bored with their job and they are in and out of the room pretty quick. Not Dr. Kilbane he actually spent a good amount of time with us, explained everything about my foxes broken leg, treatment options and then explained it again once my fiance got there.

I was made to think my dog was in pain due to a very large cavity and felt compelled to follow veterinary recommendations. DR. RAMOS IS AMAZING!!! I've been waiting for a vet like her for my cat's entire life! Her level of analysis and the manner in which she goes about conducting it are second to none. She exudes compassion with her every word and movement, and I feel truly grateful to have found her. Dr. Kilbane is amazing!!! My previous vet could never find out what was wrong with my sweet kitty and basically thought I was just paranoid and so he tossed diagnoses at me! I was tired of getting the run around and so a friend suggested Dr. Kilbane. I felt immediate warm vibes and that he truly loves his job working with animals! He listened and did not disregard me!! My chiweenie was in pain and no vets in my area would see new patients on Saturday. I called Advent and got her in quickly. Dr. Ramos was awesome, diagnosed her within 10 minutes. An xray, IV meds and some meds to take home and she's feeling better. She had a slipped disc. The staff was also excellent and not at all concerned with my kids being in the room. The tech even invited the kids in.

For some people it's just a job, and for some it's a calling. In her case it's definitely the latter. The staff are pleasant to work with as well. A lot of vets I have gone to kind of look bored with their job and they are in and out of the room pretty quick. Not Dr. Kilbane he actually spent a good amount of time with us, explained everything about my foxes broken leg, treatment options and then explained it again once my fiance got there.
