We decided to change our cats veterinarian to one closer to our new home and we are glad we did! Our cat has had an ongoing issue with her foot for nearly 2 years now and her prior vet just wanted to monitor it and never really bothered with it. Dr. Gray actually looked at her foot and got it all cleaned up and she is finally on the mend. The prior vet had us convinced there really wasn't anything we could do for her foot given her age and heart murmur (17) so we are very pleased that Dr. Gray took the time to help us. After returning my dog to the Epperson Vet Clinic for a recheck for a eye infection, my dog was mistakingly diagnosed with a dry eye problem. Apparently there is another dog that looks just like mine with a dry eye problem. My dog was given a dry eye test to measure his tear production. I was informed to continue with the dry eye drops. To which I replied" I have never administered dry eye drops to my dog". At that point I was told about the other dog"s issues. My dog should of never been administered a dry eye test. I was charged for the test and was told that since the test was administered I am responsible for the cost. This is unfortunate in that I am a responsible pet owner and try my best to make sure my dog is properly taken care of. Overall, I love this office. I'm still disappointed in Dr. Amy leaving and not always thrilled with the 30 minute drive, but I won't consider taking my animals anywhere else. I love that they remember my dogs personalities and will work with my crazy work schedule to get me in even when they have a full schedule. They even let me bring 3 senior Bassets in at a time knowing the chaos that ensues. They have willingly given me advice on foster dogs when I thought the rescue's 'preferred' vet was less than competent and worked with me to find care solutions. Case in point, the rescue's vet wanted to put our foster down, but with Epperson's help, he is happy and healthy at 11. All of my dogs will run into their office without hesitation; that alone should be a huge sign for most pet owners. Read Less

I can't say enough good things about this business! I had traveled all the way from Sioux Falls, SD to Greenville, KY to adopt a pup from the shelter there. On the way back she got a little car sick, so I called Epperson Veterinary Services. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My new pup got an exam, heartworm and flea medications, microchipping, and of course, car sick medication, all for a very reasonable price. They gave me a puppy kit, and extra pup supplies for the trip. Even though they knew we wouldn't be back because we were only passing through, they treated us royally. I highly recommend this clinic! We found Epperson's when we moved here about 12 years ago. We have had Excellent care for our dogs (Goldens) every time. I not only would recommend them, I have, many times. They care about the pet as well as the owners. I have never had any reason to even think of changing. We only moved to Evansville earlier in the year and this is our first need for veterinary services since then. We loved our previous veterinary office and staff so much we were really worried that we'd ever find another we would be so happy with. The first two vets that we called couldn't see our dog until later in the week. Epperson was the third place we called and they could see him the next day. Thank goodness things worked out as they did for us. Not only are they fairly close to us, they were awesome. My husband took Elvis there with a lump that had gotten quite a bit larger in a relatively short time and they scheduled him for surgery two days later. Dr Amy was his "dogtor" and we just knew he was in good hands. She removed the lump and sent it off just to make sure although she cut it open and told us she was fairly positive it was only a cyst. She has over 25 years of experience and I've heard nothing but good things about Epperson and Dr Amy. We are even thinking about boarding our three dogs there on our next vacation. When my precious Abby got hurt, they stayed open to help her, even though they were not her regular Vet. They all were very sympathetic when I called and told them Abby didn't make it through the night. Today I got a card in the mail from them.
