I have used Windemere animal hospital for many years for my two Golden Retrievers and have been pleased with their service and friendliness. The Vets and Techs are always very helpful and are truly animal lovers. I really appreciated their concern especially when I had to put down my first Golden who developed cancer at age 10. I started with Dr Paul, when 'Samantha' became very ill and her long-time doctor had retired. The new young doctor who then saw Samantha did not know her and I wasn't confident of her initial diagnosis. I searched online for a small - animal doctor who liked cats. Windermere had three docs pictured: one with a reptile, another with a dog and (thank goodness) Dr Paul, holding a cat. I was able to take Samantha to see him right away and when he gently laid his hands on her MY blood pressure dropped 20 points. I was immediately sure he was going to help her.... And he did. Dr Paul was experienced, knowledgeable and had all the resources of Windermere's first class facilities to take care of her. Dr Paul took care of Samantha until he had to help her die, which he did with good care. He and his staff at Windermere have operated on both oh my living cats and when he told me Samantha's doctor had come out of retirement, I said, 'I am glad he is happy; However, you are our doctor and Windermere is our clinic.'
