The staff at Aboite Animal Hospital care about your pet and you. They are kind and caring when you call with questions or concerns and are quick to respond when they need to call back. The vets are all compassionate and caring also. I have had four dogs and a cat while at this vet office and all have received excellent care. A couple of them had difficult health issues and I appreciated all the Drs did to help them maintain quality of life.
I would and do recommend Aboite Animal Hospital to all of my friends.

We evacuated from FL to IN during hurricane Irma. We left our dogs in Ft. Wayne with a family member while we returned home to deal with everything. One of our pets ran out of medicine and Aboit was more than happy to work with our vet in Naples to make sure our Jack was taken care of. We had never even been there before! A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the staff members who assisted us during this difficult time. You guys are the best!

I met Dan Rodgers over 40 years ago when I was participating in a dog obedience class. I will never forget the love on his Australian Shepherd's face throughout the classes. She could not keep her eyes off of his face; she had no time for any other dog or human in the class. Right there and then I knew that he was the vet for me and my pets. Throughout the years Dr. Dan has always shown compassion for my babies and guided me as to the best care for a long and happy life for them. I have had a dozen cats and/or dogs in that time. He and his outstanding staff have cared for them from start and in 9 cases to the finish. There has never been a time when I called that I wasn't treated in a kind, courteous and caring manner by the staff. They work to see that I get the earliest possible appointment, ease my worries and in some cases ask Dr. Dan to call me back. He always returns my call; sometimes after working hours. I can say without any reservation that Aboite Animal Hospital is the best. I tell all my friends and family there is no other place to take your pets!

The vets have contacts at Purdue and at the Emergency Clinic and are able to make specialist referrals when the situation warrants it. I can't imagine taking my dog anywhere else.

Dr. Rodgers is the BEST veterinarian I have had in 20 years. He truly cares about my fur babies and their overall health and well-being. He is genuine not only with them, but with me - in listening and providing answers to educate me in being a better owner. Most importantly, was how he personally called me when he received the report I had to put a fur baby down over the weekend at an emergency veterinarian hospital. He provided words and prayer of comfort, followed by materials in the mail the next day to help me with the loss. Again, he is the best - if you want someone who truly is caring and compassionate in the medical care of your fur baby.

We have been taking all of our (six) pets to Aboite Animal Hospital for over sixteen years now. So without a doubt we can tell you that you're getting the preeminent veterinarians and best medical care in Northeast Indiana and the surrounding areas.
Attributing to this fact is that the office has a continuing education day set aside each month to stay up to date on technology and information. So not only are you getting years of experience from Dr. Rodgers, Rowe, Chastain and staff but also the very best treatment available. You are also current for new aspects of everyday care. For example, we knew when Science Diet prescription kidney care food was being improved to have better flavor so the cats would want to eat more.
The staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. And they are very efficient. We've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen but always felt our pets were given the attention they deserved in the exam room.
The office is always clean and smells pleasant. There isn't hair or dirt on the floor or entryway carpets.
If you want the best care, latest technology and products available for your animals then I highly recommend Aboite Animal Hospital. You won't find more honest and caring people anywhere!

I have written a review before but had an extraordinary experience and need to write another! We have been going to Aboite to see Dr Dan for a little over 2 years. Not only has this clinic provided superb customer service and a pristine facility, but excellent results as well. 1. Our dog McClane has suffered from severe skin allergies since he was born. He was on steroids for most of his life. When we went to Dr. Dan he introduced us to a new medical break through that allows McClane to take one pill a day instead of 4. With leaps and bounds better results!!! McClane who has had almost no hair most of his life now has a full coat of hair! He is happy, healthy, and hairy!! 2. Today we had an unfortunate encounter with another dog. McClane had bad puncture wounds resulting in lots of staples. The support staff worked me in with no trouble. They greeted me and helped me get McClane inside. They were quick and kind with our initial exam. I left McClane at the office while they performed the necessary procedures. When I came back McClane had top of the line care including Laser treatment for pain and healing. We had a few bowl movements while trying to leave the lobby (due to anesthesia) and the vet techs attended to it right away, allowing McClane to take his time getting to the car. Dr Dan got McClane up in the car himself. Through the entire experience every staff member was sincerely invested in our care. Many treats and kisses were exchanged. I cannot say enough about the love that oozes from this facility! If you want your fur-baby to have the best care, don't go anywhere else.

We had to visit Aboite Animal Hospital the day after Thanksgiving due to our regular vet office being closed (definitely wish we had picked this vet office when we first moved to Ft Wayne). This was one of the saddest, most difficult days of our lives....it was time for our little "Mimi" (our Old English Sheepdog - Madison) to start her next journey in heaven. We had her for 13 years but we still were not prepared to let her go. Dr. Rodgers and his staff were so good to us and to Madison. Once she had drifted peacefully to sleep, he even ask us if we would like to pray. We were so heartbroken, but the prayer that Dr. Rodgers prayed as we held hands around our sweet girl was so comforting and warming. We will never forget the kindness we were shown. This is a beautiful facility with loving and caring people and we will forever be grateful for your kindness. - Joey and Julie Hall

AWESOME STAFF! My cat received such kind and thorough treatment. Samantha was so attentive both on the phone when scheduling my appointment and in person when answering my questions. Dr. Parker listened carefully to my concerns about Cooper, my cat. Vicki went the extra mile to provide me with guidance and information that I needed. The atmosphere in their office is upbeat, kind and caring. I will be back!

Dr. Rodgers is the BEST veterinarian I have had in 20 years. He truly cares about my fur babies and their overall health and well-being. He is genuine not only with them, but with me - in listening and providing answers to educate me in being a better owner. Most importantly, was how he personally called me when he received the report I had to put a fur baby down over the weekend at an emergency veterinarian hospital. He provided words and prayer of comfort, followed by materials in the mail the next day to help me with the loss. Again, he is the best - if you want someone who truly is caring and compassionate in the medical care of your fur baby.

We have been taking all of our (six) pets to Aboite Animal Hospital for over sixteen years now. So without a doubt we can tell you that you're getting the preeminent veterinarians and best medical care in Northeast Indiana and the surrounding areas.
Attributing to this fact is that the office has a continuing education day set aside each month to stay up to date on technology and information. So not only are you getting years of experience from Dr. Rodgers, Rowe, Chastain and staff but also the very best treatment available. You are also current for new aspects of everyday care. For example, we knew when Science Diet prescription kidney care food was being improved to have better flavor so the cats would want to eat more.
The staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. And they are very efficient. We've never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen but always felt our pets were given the attention they deserved in the exam room.
The office is always clean and smells pleasant. There isn't hair or dirt on the floor or entryway carpets.
If you want the best care, latest technology and products available for your animals then I highly recommend Aboite Animal Hospital. You won't find more honest and caring people anywhere!

I have written a review before but had an extraordinary experience and need to write another! We have been going to Aboite to see Dr Dan for a little over 2 years. Not only has this clinic provided superb customer service and a pristine facility, but excellent results as well. 1. Our dog McClane has suffered from severe skin allergies since he was born. He was on steroids for most of his life. When we went to Dr. Dan he introduced us to a new medical break through that allows McClane to take one pill a day instead of 4. With leaps and bounds better results!!! McClane who has had almost no hair most of his life now has a full coat of hair! He is happy, healthy, and hairy!! 2. Today we had an unfortunate encounter with another dog. McClane had bad puncture wounds resulting in lots of staples. The support staff worked me in with no trouble. They greeted me and helped me get McClane inside. They were quick and kind with our initial exam. I left McClane at the office while they performed the necessary procedures. When I came back McClane had top of the line care including Laser treatment for pain and healing. We had a few bowl movements while trying to leave the lobby (due to anesthesia) and the vet techs attended to it right away, allowing McClane to take his time getting to the car. Dr Dan got McClane up in the car himself. Through the entire experience every staff member was sincerely invested in our care. Many treats and kisses were exchanged. I cannot say enough about the love that oozes from this facility! If you want your fur-baby to have the best care, don't go anywhere else.

I felt so comfortable and at ease from the check in to check out. Dr Chastain was really kind and explained everything that he did during the cleaning. We had to visit Aboite Animal Hospital the day after Thanksgiving due to our regular vet office being closed (definitely wish we had picked this vet office when we first moved to Ft Wayne). This was one of the saddest, most difficult days of our lives....it was time for our little "Mimi" (our Old English Sheepdog - Madison) to start her next journey in heaven. We had her for 13 years but we still were not prepared to let her go. Dr. Rodgers and his staff were so good to us and to Madison. Once she had drifted peacefully to sleep, he even ask us if we would like to pray. We were so heartbroken, but the prayer that Dr. Rodgers prayed as we held hands around our sweet girl was so comforting and warming. We will never forget the kindness we were shown. This is a beautiful facility with loving and caring people and we will forever be grateful for your kindness. - Joey and Julie Hall
