The best veterinary clinic ever! I called really worried about my 15 year old dog, and they got me right in! I had to bring my 2 year old wild child, and they all were so nice and understanding when she started screaming in the reception area. They even gave her stickers! Only place in Fort Wayne that I know of that takes exotics(finding a vet for a python is a task) and they’re very good at what they do and the amount of knowledge they have on stranger animals- most vets that take exotics don’t actually know as much as I’d like but they definitely do! The vets and staff are all extremely friendly at Dupont Veterinary Clinic. They are extremely good with my dog, so much so that his tail is wagging nearly the whole time he is there. They also offer convenient appointment times around work hours and on the weekends. Read Less

The staff are so great and kind. Hours are very convenient and easy to schedule. The special foods are well-stocked and easy to pick up even with our hectic schedule. We took our new puppies here today. Staff was AMAZING. Fast acting since our pups were having some problems. At first we were in an isolated room until we knew our pups were safe for other animals to be around. I didn't mind at all and when they were all clear we got into a normal room fast! The office was very clean. Staff was so loving to our girls. I didn't have to ask many questions at all because Dr. Pilla did an excellent job at informing us about everything that was going on with our girls. We did have to wait on two tests, while waiting they checked in to let us know just a little longer. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because you all are very amazing, friendly, and are very knowledgeable. As we left they were even kind enough to give us paper towels and a bag since our one girl gets car sick on each ride. We cant wait to bring our girls back for their next round of vaccinations and any future animals here as well! Read Less

The staff and veterinarians/assistants are incredible. It's always very clean and every time I've take my animals there, they've offered my daughter and I something to drink and have made us and our pets comfortable while we wait. They have gone the extra mile several times and explain things thoroughly. They even let me take a video on how to use a certain medication on my bearded dragon since they had to give a dose there and I had a give another dosage in a couple of weeks. Just looking at the outside of the building you know you will experience the utmost care for your pet. Walking in you almost forget you’re at a vet office! Unlike most vet offices they pay attention to detail that make sure you and your pet have quality care every time you enter from annual appointments, to picking up food, and procedures. This vet is very clean and beautiful inside and out. Good customer service and they care about your pet! I do have one huge complaint and that is the prices and the fact that they require you to come in for a yearly exam for your pet. I dont think you should be required to do that if your pet is perfectly fine. They will not give monthly flea and worm medicine unless you come in and pay for the yearly visit. It doesn't make sense it just seems like they are trying to hold your animals health hostage unless you pay up. Hopefully they will rethink that rule Read Less

The clinic is clean and very nice. I am greeted as soon as I am pulled through the door by one or both of my golden retrievers. We too, followed Dr. Valerie Tratnyk when she moved from another location. She is the best vet around and there is no question our dogs love her. She is thorough and honest and truly cares about your pet. Recently I took one in because of a consistent cough. A few days later I received a follow-up call to see how he was doing. I had to make an emergency vet visit 3 days after I had brought my 8 week old Shih Tzu puppy home from the breeder because I had found out he was exposed to the Parvovirus. They were very prompt in getting him in and tested ASAP. He had tested positive and even though I couldn't afford the treatment, they supported my decision in treating him from home and were helpful during the 5 days I had to bring him in to have subcutaneous fluids to keep him hydrated during his battle. He survived it and it wouldn't have been possible without DuPont Vet! I'm so thankful they were supportive and extremely helpful! He is now 5 months old and such a happy little puppy! Absolutely love this place! Staff is courteous and professional. I had taken my rabbit in without making an appointment because I had noticed something was extremely wrong. The staff got me in to see the Doctor right away, gave me a diagnosis and medicine and had me and my furbaby out within an hour! Not only was the staff courteous and had a sense of urgency, but they even called me 2-3 throughout the following week to see how Echo was doing! This place is amazing! I didn't realize a vet's office could offer such great service until my dog became a patient! The staff are so friendly, helpful, and caring! I feel like they truly care about me and my dog and that means a lot, especially with how stressful visits to the vet can be. Over the last few years, we've been to this vet's office 20-30 times for various illnesses, emergencies, surgeries, routine visits, etc and have seen 4 different vets. Dr. Rietdorf and Dr. Dawes are my two favorite, I've never felt rushed with either of the them. They are top-notch doctors and I highly recommend them. Read Less

We love this place. First their place is exceptionally clean. Next the front desk staff are VERY friendly and VERY good at what they do in meeting your needs. Finally we see Dr. Valerie Tratnyk and she is the absolute best. We have followed her to her new location which is further for us to drive only because we have never found another vet that meets her standards of care to our fur kids and support to us as fur parents.
