I called at 8:00, 8:05, 8:10 and 8:12 before someone answered the phone. I explained that my cat had an eye injury, that her eye was swollen, and oozing. When I came home last night, I found her eye in this condition. ( I recently adopted a kitten and they swat at each other). I was put on hold, and Amanda came back on the line and said "Look, Dr. Glidewell is on vacation, and Dr. Riebe is handling the whole load. We just don't have time to see her today. You might want to call another vet, maybe Allen Vet- they're on this side of town. I know that's not what you want to hear, but that's all I can do. If it's an eye injury you probably don't want to wait too long." I am an established patient, who has an injured animal, and I call at 8 in the morning, and you simply don't have time to see her??? How is that even ethical? I wasn't asking for her to have her nails trimmed, or be checked for fleas, or get a vaccine , or anything that could have waited until next week. My established vet, who has her records, and has taken care of her for the 7 years ( and been paid promptly and at the time of service), DID NOT HAVE TIME TO SEE MY INJURED/INFECTED ANIMAL- COULDN'T EVEN FIT HER IN........ I emailed them from their website and requested that one of the doctors call me when their workload slowed down. I am so disappointed .........Read Less
