Westside Animal Hospital is truly AWESOME! I have taken my dog, Aurora, there since we adopted her 3 years ago. I had not had a dog (or any other animal) since I was very young and never an indoor dog, so I came with a lot of questions, concerns and worries. I have never felt ashamed to call in and ask my sometimes "odd" questions nor have I been given an "I don't know". The Office staff are Wonderful and have gotten right down on the floor to welcome Aurora. The Office staff are regularly able to answer my questions and concerns without a standard "let me check with the vet", unless needed, and are willing to share their own similar experiences...which in my view, goes to show how competent they are! Also, I never feel rushed whether I'm in the office or calling in. GROOMING, I just can't say enough great things about Rose Marie! If Rose Marie is on her way in when I am dropping Aurora off she comes up to the front office to greet us and with all of the animals she takes of she still knows Aurora by name and Aurora is excited to see her. Having Aurora excited to see her Groomer places my confidence in her and takes away my anxiety away from leaving her, especially since she stays for several hours. During her day with Rose Marie, Aurora can get in any vet checks or annual updates and I get my errands ran. The pricing really can't be beat, typically without requesting any extras, it is one third of what I have paid at many other groomers in the past. My wish, for Westside, would be for them to add Daycare/Day Play and a Self dog wash - for emergencies. Also, some type of in-house financing or payment system for unexpected issues (other than the CareCredit card offered). THANK YOU for all that you do! Read Less

Dr. Fox takes great care of our 4 pets, and all the vet techs are very kind. We love going to Westside, even though its about a 40 minute drive for us. I recommend it to everyone with 4 legged children. There isn't a better vet in the area. Read Less

I was recommended by a family member and scheduled an appointment for our newest family member. I can see why they love it here. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledable. The vet we seen was patient and calm with our pet. Our experience was wonderful and we will return here. I been to many animal pads but it claiming WESTSIDE I knew I would be treated with nothing but Love and Respect !! I knew they would groom me in all my spots and use my Doggie shampoo and conditioner.Read Less

This place is amazing. When I got my 8 week old golden retriever puppy, he already had been given his first shots, so I called west side to schedule his second set, but before we even got to the day of our appointment, my dog jumped up and knocked coffee out of my hands, and licked it up from the floor. We had never even been into the vet but I called about caffein being poisonous to dogs and the girl who answered spent a good 10 minutes on the phone with me patiently asking my questions while I freaked out about my puppy. Then at our first appointment there, the staff was very friendly and didn't mind at all that Sam wanted to jump and lick all over them, and gave my 3 year old daughter a coloring book to keep her occupied during the appointment. Dr Khan told me multiple times during my appointment to call him at any times if we had any questions at all about our pup. At our most recent appointment (Sam is now 5 months old), I accidentally came a day early. I thought I'd scheduled it for a Tuesday but it was really for a Wednesday. But when I got there, the girl at the desk said she knew it was probably a hassle to get both my puppy and my toddler in the car and over to the vet (it really isn't much trouble since I live about one minute from their location), so she went to ask the doctor if he could see us a day early. They got us in and didn't even rush the appointment at all! Dr khan once again was very thorough and even cleaned his ears for free (which there's usually a charge for) and told me again to call any time with any questions or concerns. I agree with those who say it's a tad bit pricier than some other places you could go in town, but to me it's worth it for their excellent service. Read Less

I have been going to Westside Anmial hospital for over 6 years and they have always been very friendly and accommodating. They are willing to squeeze in appointments and care about your pets. They know how to make you feel at ease when you pet is unwell. All my dogs love Dr. Trapp!!! Read Less

Really disappointed with our recent spaying procedure. Given a cheap plastic cone which was destroyed, then given the same one which was also destroyed. No alternatives offered, just more expensive medications and costs with no solutions to prevent licking. New dr seems very unresponsive to questions and concerns. Very displeased especially with the high cost of the spaying procedure. Will be looking for a new clinic in the future. Read Less

I've heard that other area vets are less expensive but I've been bringing my animals here for about 12 years and I have been extremely satisfied. Service is amazing and the care is top notch. I have never called around to see if others are cheaper because I am so satisfied with the care and costs I don't care if I could get them seen for less or not.  The trust and relationships they have built with us and our animals provide immense peace of mind. Yesterday I brought my baby nova in, she was ill, dehydrated; my husband and I were terrified. We were given the worst news of our life and faced with the decision to put our baby girl out of her misery so that she could run free across the rainbow bridge. Dr. Fox and the entire staff were so completely compassionate and caring in this hard time they really helped ease an otherwise very difficult situation. We're still in tears today as we will be for many days to come but it is a comfort to know that while my baby passed in my arms she was not only surrounded by family but a gentle caring staff that eased so much of my worries.
