I would say the people leaving bad reviews are the type of people that you can never please. I've had nothing but great experiences with all the staff, they treat your animal like it's there own. Yes ...
I would say the people leaving bad reviews are the type of people that you can never please. I've had nothing but great experiences with all the staff, they treat your animal like it's there own. Yes people make appointments and sometimes have to wait, the reasoning is if a truly sick animal comes in they get priority over others with elective appointments. Same as the emergency room, they take gun shoot victims over someone with the flu. If you truly care about your pet this is the place to go, nice, knowledgeable staff. These are real animal lovers and caretakers of all my animal's, and if you love your pets you'd do the same. This is just my opinion from my experience with the doctor and staff, you pay for what you get.

Georgetown Vet Hospital has been the most rude and awful office I have ever brought my dogs to in the past 30 years! Putting up with the front desk attitudes at each appointment for the last year was building and now these past couple incidents have put me over the top with this place. It started when I scheduled my dog for his neuter in April for July surgery - called in July to check on the actual time for him and they didn’t have it on the calendar - apparently they “forgot” to schedule it. They offered to squeeze me in within 2 weeks and so I thought, well maybe it’s a sign not to get ther surgery so I held off until I spoke to my husband. We decided to go ahead and continue with the surgery and called back only to be told they couldn’t do that date anymore and now couldn’t fit me in until October, which forced me to find another vet for the neuter. I got him in at Hillside (super nice people there!). In the meantime I had placed an order online for my dog’s flea and tick medication through Georgetown and paid for it like they told me I could. I just received an email message this morning that said they “declined my prescription” because I “transferred” my dog’s shot records to Hillside. I also called Georgetown to see if I could come purchase an E-collar for my dog that I needed because the one I had wasn’t working. They said “you transferred your records to Hillside, go ask them” - I told them “yes, because you couldn’t get me in to have my dog neutered...so I can’t purchase an e-collar from you?” And she said “NO” - I was like wow, this is why I am transferring completely now!! I could not believe how they treat their customers - no care in the world for the animal or their customers...they are COMPLETELY ABOUT MONEY. BTW - Hillside has been wonderful, the girls are ALL friendly at the front desk and the office is open and you actually get to go in with your animal - unlike the cold service you receive at Georgetown Vet. What a difference.

Be sure you check all prices for all services you get. My wife asked for a bath for my dog before we picked him up from a weekend kenneling and to my astonishment it was $75.00 and he smells like a wet dog. There is much better grooming for half the price or less elsewhere.

While I love the actual vets and the new facility is nice, the amount of time I have to wait to even get back into a room with my pups is completely unacceptable. 40 minutes after the appointment is scheduled for and I still find myself in the waiting room . Unfortunately I will be looking for another vet to trust in the area .

I’ve been taking my fur babies there for about a year now. My older dog has a lot of hip and ear problems and they have been great with him and getting him on the right medications to help ease his pain. Unfortunately he would need the equivalent of a hip replacement to get better. Even though they said that any type of surgery wouldn’t help they offered to send his info to specialists for me to get a second opinion. Great staff as well. Everyone has always been very friendly and I love their bird. The new facility is amazing as well!

Great service except that the medicine I was given to cure my dog's eye issue did nothing for him. I was so concerned I accepted the additional suggested treatment. I was led to understand and believe that this place was more affordable than a $500 visit then I received. After much research I found a home ready remedy that fixed the issue with my dog's eye.

Dr. Day is great! Theyare moving soon to a larger location, still in Georgetown though. The price is reasonable and the staff is friendly and courteous. I once had to take my dog in after hours due to being caught in the leg with a treble hook. Dr day had no problem staying to help me with my pup. She is honest, caring and knows that when people love their pets, they love them like they are their own children. She is considerate of financial issues and tries not to go way over on the expenses. I honestly believe that she is in this field Because she wants to help animals, not just to make a buck.

I love this place and the staff! I have been treated with nothing but kindness here and seen many other folks in and out and they were treated with much compassion and kindness. I am sure people have bad experiences just about anywhere at times but my dog has been seen there at least 5 times in the past year and I give all 5 visits an A+ all the way around.

If I could give zero stars I would. Amateur to say the least. Don't waste your time with Janes She obviously couldn't care less about animals. Made an appointment, got there early and as soon as Janes got in she told the staff she wouldn't see me or my dog and that we needed to make an appointment, which I did the week before. Didn't even have the class to tell me herself. Try Crosscreek Housecall instead. Very highly recommended.

I’ve been taking my fur babies there for about a year now. My older dog has a lot of hip and ear problems and they have been great with him and getting him on the right medications to help ease his pain. Unfortunately he would need the equivalent of a hip replacement to get better. Great service except that the medicine I was given to cure my dog's eye issue did nothing for him. I was so concerned I accepted the additional suggested treatment.
