My cat started making a really congested sounds when she was breathing randomly that she had never made before so I decided to bring her here. Very first thing the doctor did when she entered the room was criticize my ability as a caretaker. Just kept saying "oh boy big head little body". Yes my cat was overweight. She was around 10 lbs. But the doctor just kept repeating it. I let the doctor know my cat wasn't great in new places and she may try to flee from the examination table but the doctor didn't seem to care. A few seconds later my cat took a nose dive onto the floor from about 4 feet. After a very quick basic examination the doctor took her back to get an x-ray. Few minutes later came back to show me she had a tumor or cancer. When i asked which it was the doctor told me she was not adequately trained on the machines to see which it was and that my cat had about 2 weeks left to live. Best she could do for me was a shot of steroid and to bring her back when she starts having breathing issues again.
I am only writing this because here I am a year and a half later about to celebrate my cats 12th birthday. A YEAR AND A HALF later. While the nurses were great and kind the doctor felt like she could not be bothered to help and was rushed to do anything. Oh and for anyone wondering oxygen for an animal cost around 75 dollars for a few minutes. Another charge I was given because my cat was breathing heavy. Yeah no kidding. If your put in a strange situation and place I am sure you would be stressed too.

We have taking our dogs here for 19 years. We've had 4 shelter dogs, one for each daughter as they grew up. The vets have helped keep them healthy for their good little lives. Probably more importantly they have given good advice as they age and decisions need to be made for their quality of life. I would recommend anyone to use this vet.

I am so disappointed! After 2 years of taking my greyhound here, she past away last month and when I called to tell them to mark her deceased (I was getting a vaccine card reminder in the mail), the woman on the phone was not sympathetic at all! She just told me she'd take care of the file. How rude! I'll be taking my other dog elsewhere now! I would think being in the vet business, you'd have sympathy for others losing their pets just as much as you'd expect people would be towards you!

I have gone to them for 15 yrs. I appreciate all the Dr's there. Recently I went to put my Dog to sleep. I got over and above care. The staff was so kind and very caring. Dr Coon was awesome. The care she gave my dog during the very sad experience was more than I could have asked for. She explained everything. My dog passed very peacefully. During the 14 yrs of my dog's life I always got good care there.

Monday and Tuesday no call back . this place used to be fantastic but the last two years They have gone down hill.

Our dog Elsa had her annual checkup and shots today. Our appointment was for 9:00am but we didn't get seen until about 9:30am. Dr. Coon apologized and said woman ahead of us was a first time puppy owner with lots of questions. When Dr. Coon finished Elsa's exam that woman was still at the desk and the staff was making sure she had everything she needed and all her questions answered. I've seen the top notch care at Maplecrest with our own dogs but here was another great example of how attentive, professional and caring the staff there is. If you are in the Goshen area I would highly recommend Maplecrest Animal Hospital for your pet's care.

I had to bring my furbaby in and have her put to sleep yesterday. The staff was amazing in understanding how difficult this was for me. They were soft spoken and gentle when they cared for my dog to ensure that she wasn't stressed out during the initial process and gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbyes afterwards. Thank you for making the most hardest decision of my life so far just a little bit easier, and thank you for the respect and dignity you showed my beloved Sugar. I appreciate it so much.

My sister Nan came there today with an injured Hawk. Dr . Jeff Longenbaugh, DVM and staff made sure that Hawk was seen right away. He could not be saved, but he was humanely euthanized and she is so grateful (as am I). My family is moving to Goshen from California next week. Best veterinarian office in all of Elkhart. We have been taking our animals here for 20 years now. Dr. Jeff Longenbaugh has done operations on exotic species and has been a great asset to our animals. Dr. Coon is great with all animals. Our dog Shadow is very aggressive and can only be seen by Dr. Coon he lets her do what ever she needs to do with him. I have taken cockatiels here also for respiratory problems. When Shadow was a puppy he ate twenty thousand milligrams of Buffered Asprin. They transferred him to Michigan State where he was in the ICU for a week. All in all they do a great job and care about the animals they treat.

Was in yesterday and got this butch vet. She constantly spoke over me when I wanted to ask questions about my pet.
The secretaries were very nice and welcoming. But I pity you if you get that vet.

Our dog Elsa had her annual checkup and shots today. Our appointment was for 9:00am but we didn't get seen until about 9:30am. Dr. Coon apologized and said woman ahead of us was a first time puppy owner with lots of questions. When Dr. Coon finished Elsa's exam that woman was still at the desk and the staff was making sure she had everything she needed and all her questions answered. I've seen the top notch care at Maplecrest with our own dogs but here was another great example of how attentive, professional and caring the staff there is. If you are in the Goshen area I would highly recommend Maplecrest Animal Hospital for your pet's care.

I had to bring my furbaby in and have her put to sleep yesterday. The staff was amazing in understanding how difficult this was for me. They were soft spoken and gentle when they cared for my dog to ensure that she wasn't stressed out during the initial process and gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbyes afterwards. Thank you for making the most hardest decision of my life so far just a little bit easier, and thank you for the respect and dignity you showed my beloved Sugar. I appreciate it so much.

Very excellent veterinarian when we take our beagle in there the staff and veterinarians are very good to our dog they give him the best of care they listen to and answer any questions you ask also everyone there is really nice and friendly they always make you feel welcome and our beagle loves going there and loves the treat they give him.

The doctors and staff are the best. They always fully explain treatment of your pet and are very patient when a pet owner has a lot of questions. They provide compassionate care. Every one on staff has treated our dogs like they are one of their own. Especially today when our sweet Macey visited the office for the last time. My sister Nan came there today with an injured Hawk. Dr . Jeff Longenbaugh, DVM and staff made sure that Hawk was seen right away. He could not be saved, but he was humanely euthanized and she is so grateful (as am I). My family is moving to Goshen from California next week. I was looking for a Vet for my 2 German shepherds, and 2 parrots. Looks like I found our new Vet at Maplecrest Animal Hospital! Thank you all so much and I will be seeing you soon! Debbie

Best veterinarian office in all of Elkhart. We have been taking our animals here for 20 years now. Dr. Jeff Longenbaugh has done operations on exotic species and has been a great asset to our animals. Dr. Coon is great with all animals. Our dog Shadow is very aggressive and can only be seen by Dr. Coon he lets her do what ever she needs to do with him. I have taken cockatiels here also for respiratory problems. When Shadow was a puppy he ate twenty thousand milligrams of Buffered Asprin. They transferred him to Michigan State where he was in the ICU for a week. All in all they do a great job and care about the animals they treat.
