They took great care of my dog! He swallowed a Nerf ball and had to go in for surgery to remove it. The staff at Morris knew me by the second day and greeted me by name when I came in. They called to check in on my dog for a few days after the surgery. You can really tell they are passionate about what they do. You don't need to worry about taking your pet here! Read Less

What really set this place apart from other clinics was the fact that they offered peanut butter to all my dogs when taking their shots.  It really helped since my dogs love to eat like me  one of my dogs did not even notice what was going on because she was too busy licking the peanut butter! This was from last year as I have not gone in yet for their shots!  I am hoping they still are doing this!!! I have been taking both of my cats here for about 5 years. I initially selected MAH on the recommendation of a colleague and I'm so glad I took their advice. My kitties always received exceptional care and attention from the staff and doctors. Their boarding service was also very helpful and I never had any bad experiences with my cats staying over. After every exam or boarding visit, the staff would call me the next day to check up on my cat and make sure they were doing alright. I recently moved away from the area and am worried I won't find an animal hospital as good as this one! Read Less

I find that this place is careful and responsive.  I read Sally B's scathing condemnation and it left me scratching my head.  I've been going to Morris for 16 years with a couple of pets and certainly Sally's experience was not mine.  I thank Morris for good and kind care for both of our cats. I love this place. The techs always greet my dog enthusiastically when he walks in the door. They are terrific--smart, friendly, and cheerful. Once when my boy was too dehydrated and sick to get in my car (and I couldn't lift him), one of the techs came to my house and gave him an IV. Dr. Gayle is our vet, and she and my dog have a great relationship. Since he's 10 years old now, I get anxious easily about anything that seems irregular. Dr. Gayle responds quickly if I call, and she gets him right into her schedule if either of us thinks he needs to be seen. When she recommends tests or medications, she lets me know their costs, priorities, and alternatives if there are any. The bottom line is this: I've taken my 140 lb. mixed-breed dog to Morris for the 9 years I've had him, and he's in great health. Read Less

Please BEWARE of the "pyramid scheme" they've got going here...I have no doubt, they have some competent vets here at MAH, albeit expensive.  But as far as ethics, I'm afraid they fail, epically!  I knew they were more expensive than other vets in the area but I only want what's best for my pet, so I didn't mind.  On Saturday I brought my dog in here because he appeared to have a small bite on his head.After a full exam on my dog ( not requested or needed ) the vet then finally looked at the bite and said it was probably nothing.  They said they were going to take my dog in the back and clean his ears.  One hour later, they brought him back and left us in the exam room of another 20 minutes.   I then went to the front desk to ask what was taking so long... a few minutes later the vet came back into the room stating..."We're just waiting for the test results...""WHAT TEST RESULTS???"  I asked, "I didn't give you permission to run ANY tests on my dog, you said you were going to clean his ears??"   "I thought you wanted us to run a fecal exam and blood test?""I never said any of that, nor did I give you my permission"To which she immediately backpedalled and lied...and then tried to change her story and say the dog hadn't been tested "yet".Except I have all of our conversations recorded as this isn't this first time this has happened to me here at MAH.     That should come in handy when filing a formal complaint.  What I was told would be approximately $50.00 exam to look at his bug bite had now turned into a $ 450.00 + vet bill.     PET PARENTS BEWARE - they will prey on your fears and the vulnerability that comes from loving your pet.       To add to their unscrupulous veterinary practices, I received a call today from a police officer.MAH had apparently called them ( after I left, refusing to pay the $450.00 ) to file a complaint. Mind you, not that I hadn't paid for unsolicited and illegal procedures performed...No, they falsely accused me of assaulting an employee????WOW!  I didn't touch anyone there, nor would I ever lay my hands on another person.But THIS is the length they will go to to cover themselves...Liars, Thieves and wasting tax-payers dollars to cover themselves.    Even the officer who had to call this morning - - thought it was ridiculous.    Gayle O'Konski  is a piece of work!    I can't even call her a Doctor with this level of "code of ethics".    Shameful!!!
