We took our cat and husky puppy for a couple routine visits so far, the staff and Doctors are very friendly with us and our pets and as I've seen with our customers. Our cat got neutered and he is doing very well and was acting himself the same right after the surgery. You won't be worried about your pets well being with them. Read Less

I was in the middle of moving across the country and my dog was clearly not doing well. I picked this spot because it was close. I am so happy I did! This is the best vet I've ever been to. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming and they got me in in a jiffy. Dr Barnes explained everything to me very clearly. There was no pressure to do anything I didn't have the money for but she made sure to explain what every expense was for. My dog is my child and she understood that, but she also understood that this was a very unforeseen expense. Even after she knew I wasn't going back, she made sure to follow up with my pets care. 10/10 would recommend. I wish she was my vet always! Can't say enough good things about this place! Read Less

Dedicated, concerned staff who are as good at dealing with the people as they are with the animals. :-) I'll never forget them staying extra hours to care for our cat with IBD who died from seizures in 2014, and helping us keep another cat (with kidney and thyroid disease) alive to age 21. I actually did not get to take my new GSD puppy to the vet since I had to work so my dad took her. He love'ddddd the staff said they were all very nice very helpful, coming from a old timer who didn't have to do this back when he had a GSD it meant a lot to me! I LOVE all the staff ...they have been wonderful to my SIR TEDDY (and myself...I might add) ! Dr. Barnes does not rush when she is visiting with my Sir Teddy , she always takes her time as if he was her dog and she loved him as one of her own ! She'll never know how much we will always appreciate that !? Al so, I must add one time the Dr. was needing to call me about Teddy, I knew the phone call was coming but was fully expecting one of the staff members to call me but no, it was Dr.Barnes herself, she never rushed to get off the phone ,she answered all my questions with patients and added more information then probably she needed too, it will never be forgotten , it meant so much that she took her time to give us the information needed to move forward with Sir Teddy's trx ! Not to mention Sir Teddy doesn't get nervous when he has to go see the doctor, you might want to say...he loves her / them !! :) We unfortunately will not be seeing Dr.Barnes or the staff any longer sadly,Teddy and I are back in NC and will not be back to Indianapolis , she and they (staff) will be missed . We have been bringing our critters here for years. The staff are very knowledgeable and their love for animals is obvious. They are good at explaining things, they are kind to owners as well as pets, and their dedication is amazing. I will never forget Dr. Barnes' efforts to save our cat Karma in her last days following a long battle with IBD; and she also helped us keep another cat, Zoe, alive to the incredible age of 21 years. Kim (the vet tech) has rescued several animals; we adopted two kittens from her which she saved from the middle of 30th Street. TC (the receptionist) is a very upbeat person who makes you feel good to talk to him. They are like family and we will always come to them first for our animals' needs. Read Less

The staff here is nothing short of amazing. I had a fairly urgent need for my pup and they were able to get us in the same day. We were welcomed at the door with smiling faces and the team immediately made us comfortable and explained how the appointment would proceed. Kelly took her time examining my dog and made sure to explain everything clearly. No questions went unanswered. I highly recommend this business. Also note...they offer $10 off for referrals. Kelly (vet), Kim (tech) and TC (customer service) are an awesome team. They are unfailingly kind when caring for our cat and two dogs and dealing with us. They talked us through putting a pet to sleep last winter, something I had never dealt with, and managed to take most of the guilt out of the process. TC is a customer service superstar.
