I have been taking my pets (dogs) to Avalon Animal Clinic for over 35 years now. They have ALWAYS given them he very best of care and attention. I started with Dr. Mitchell and was sold on his abilities. Since then he has added to his staff and they show the same attitudes and abilities. I would, and have, recommend them to anyone who wants the best of care for their pets.

I have been a client of Avalon Animal Clinic for over 15 years. They have help us with now our 4th dog. The other 3 we had before they have helped us a lot when it came to having to put our dogs to sleep. Even one of our dogs had allergies to corn, wheat, and soy, they had treats to share with him as well. Thanks for ALL of your help!

I take my two dogs here and they are always very accommodating. They are willing to work with you and answer any questions that you have. I have been to really bad vet offices before and can honestly say that this is not one of them. Dr. Kiser genuinely cares about my animals and remembers them when I come in. I feel like he has their best interest at heart and isn't money hungry. I brought my puppy in to get her shots and he sent us home with treats for her 'brother'. My puppy was VERY nervous at her first vet visit and he took the time to make sure that she felt confident before doing anything with her (shots). The staff is extremely friendly as well and very welcoming when coming in. This is the first vet office that I would absolutely recommend.

I never feel that he is going to recommend a treatment just to make money for the clinic. He always has the animals welfare in mind.I have recommended him to all my friends and they are very pleased with his practice. His staff has been with him for as long as I can remember and they are all first class .

I have mostly dealt with Dr. Larry Mitchell, but I've dealt with the other vets there as well. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and very friendly, and they are all very knowledgeable and if they are not able to answer my question right away, they will find out the answer. They don't just guess and give me some answer.My animals are treated with love and care, like I would treat them. I would not even think to take them anywhere else.

My mother recently had her cat euthanized at this clinic. She was told it was best if she wasn't present for the euthanasia but wasn't explained why. This certainly wasn't any benefit to her or her cat. Perrhaps this was to benefit the clinic in some way. This business practices the "OLD" way of veterinary medicine and I would never even consider taking my pets there for even basic wellness care. My mother didn't know better so she did in fact take their advice and left, leaving her poor dying cat without comfort in the end. This practice should be ashamed of themselves for such an act.

I have been to really bad vet offices before and can honestly say that this is not one of them. Dr. Kiser genuinely cares about my animals and remembers them when I come in.
