My two year old cats have both been going to this clinic since they were kittens. Monday morning - I called with a problem I had noticed with my male cat. He had been squatting a lot trying to urinate but not much coming out. He just was not feeling well. I called to see if I could bring him in as I felt he needed to be seen right away. The very rude receptionist (name starts with an A****) said the soonest he could be seen was Wednesday. I explain to her the problem he was having and she said sorry Wednesday is the earliest they could see him. Monday early afternoon - I called back explained to A**** (receptionist) that my Cat is doing bad and I feel I'm in an emergency situation with him please can I bring him in. She said no we are swamped and Wednesday is the only day we have an appointment available. I said this is an emergency please and she said repeated sorry Wednesday is the only day we have an appointment available. By now im scared and desperate for a Vet to see my Cat so I asked her to email me his vaccine records and with a non caring attitude she said fine. I then called Companion Animal Hospital on Rangeline Rd. in Carmel and explained the situation to the receptionist she put me on hold and came back saying he must be seen right away bring him in. Monday early evening - my Cat is in excruciating pain with loud deep groans vomiting and becoming very listless. Doctor examines him his bladder is huge he has a FULL blockage in his Urethra. Doctor tells me they must sedate him NOW so they can unblock him. Monday evening - They admit him by 8pm and waste no time starting the procedure to unblock him. Doctor made it very clear if I would have waited my Cat would have died. He was overnighted with IV fluids a catheter and antibiotics. It is APPALLING that this Cat Clinic the very clinic my cats have been going to since they were kittens would turned me away in a life or death situation with my cat. NEVER AGAIN! I have pulled my Cats from this clinic and would advice anyone who goes there to have a backup Vet in the event of an emergency. CLEARLY these people do not care about a cat who is in a life or death situation. THANK YOU COMPANION ANIMAL HOSPITAL for saving my Cats life when this clinic only cared in turning me away and NOTHING else!! I also Thank God he is now home and doing very well playing and back to himself again. Read Less

I will never take my cats to any other clinic. This place is great. Dr.Boucher is a kind, empathetic, amazing vet. She helped me car for an older cat that I found outside. Though he ultimately succumbed to FIP, she helped him be much more comfortable during his time with us. On a lighter note, a vet tech pointed out that one cat that we thought was a female, was actually male. We'd taken him to another vet previously, but they didn't notice... even during the exam. My cat had inner ear issues. 1st vet said do you want to surrender her? The surgery is about 8000.00 to remove the polyps in her inner ear. They said they often grow back. Indy cat lovers recomended this vet who came to the phone to address my concerns. She then removed 9 polyps from my cars ears and throat. She provided medicine for 3 infections. She explained up front that another surgery with a specialist was needed but costly. She referred me to 2 places and one was 8000.00 and the other was 4500.00. Great cat-only vet! They have fosters available for adoption as well, and their staff really do care for your pets. Their price is worth it for the care and attention they give to your pet; my last vet was outright outrageous with their prices and the vet spent like no time with the cat. They have good choices of products available as well, including a great anti-flea med. One of the vets specializes in cats who have had botched declaw procedures (my cat is a rescue; he'd have all 4 sets of claws if it were up to me), which really drew me to this place. Read Less

I am heavily involved in local cat rescue, fostering and advocating. While Cat Care Clinic is a little pricier than some typical vets office, it's worth it for the level of care they provide and being specialists in felines. They are also very hands on and generous with local cat non-profits and support The Paw Project. I love that they offer free paw evaluations for declawed cats. I have taken declawed fosters to them for a free xray and evaluation and am very impressed with how thorough they are with a completely free exam. Obviously since they only treat cats, that makes it a little less stressful for your cat. They also have the office set up cat friendly, welcoming, and their staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. They have been more than happy to deal with accepting payments from donors, wishing to help fund fosters procedures. Highly recommend. Read Less

I have been taking my 3 cats to the CCC for at least 4 years now. Every time I go, I'm reminded why I choose CCC to care for my kitties! Their office is clean and quiet and everyone on the staff is friendly and caring. My kitties have been there for almost everything: dental treatment, digestion issues, urinary issues, and even a life-threatening respiratory infection. Each time, I leave feeling so relieved that they are being cared for at CCC. Their fees are reasonable and they make payment plans available to customers who qualify, which is a huge help. During my past few visits, I have been really impressed by the kindness and compassion of the staff. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my cats. The staff and DVMs at the Cat Care Clinic have my highest respect and gratitude, as they were able to save my kitty Hermione's life this week after she took a bite of a Lilly leaf this past Sunday. Although we started her treatment at a 24 hour animal hospital, we were faced with the tough decision of having to finance a $2500 hospital stay or basically risk Hermione's life with treatment at home--where her chances of survival were slim to none. Being less than 3 years old, I was in no position to let that happen and immediately started calling around town to see what I could do.I called the CCC in an emotional panic (this was on Tuesday) and they saw her, started her treatment right away, and quoted a very manageable price for her care. Dr. B is an incredible professional who gave me the facts, acted quickly, and was sensitive to the situation in many ways. Dr. Jacobi was of the same professional caliber, and I am so glad that even after just 5 days of having a kitty patient there, I know both of the doctors there by face and name. While Hermione ended up hospitalized for longer than we anticipated, not only was I thrilled that they were able to save her, but also with the kind and attentive care they gave to her AND me in the process. Hermione is the kind of cat that is very particular about her company, and I know she was not the easiest patient, yet no one complained (even though they let me know she was no saint, as I expected!)I was allowed to see her whenever I wanted during their open hours, and they were so kind and supportive every time I walked through their doors. There is so much to be said about the difference a smaller and more intimate practice makes. This situation has reminded me of what I already know-- bigger is not always better. THANK YOU CCC! I definitely liked keeping my cat Scruffles here! They went above and beyond to make sure that he had a place to stay when I didn't have any place to stay myself in the middle of a move. The kennel was spacious compared to another boarding facility I visited, but the price was not ideal for long-term service. I first brought my cats to Cat Care Clinic about 9 years ago. I had just moved to the north side of Indy, and the clinic was close by. It was owned by a different vet then, and while his service was fine, I'm extremely pleased with the level of service since the change in ownership. The facility is clean (and stylish!), the service is friendly and compassionate, and I feel the prices are fair. Β Dr. Moran is a real delight to talk to. She has a wonderful "bedside manner" and does a great job of explaining issues. She's never been "pushy" in trying to get you to spend extra money, but rather explains options and helps you make the right decision for your pet. They also allow for monthly payments on large bills! That was a huge help when I had a whopper of a visit with a very sick kitty. Finally, be sure to say hello to the office kitty, Oliver. He's just the sweetest thing ever!EDIT 1/22/16I felt it was very important to edit my review to include a huge revelation! During my last visit, I learned that Cat Care Clinic supports the growing movement of putting an end to declawing cats. There are still a lot of cat people who get upset when they learn a vet refuses to perform this procedure, but I applaud Cat Care Clinic for their stance. This practice is cruel and unnecessary. The cat care clinic was so wonderful! My boyfriend and I just moved to Indy a few weeks ago, and in the hustle and bustle of the move we had not found a new vet yet. Well, flash forward to the other day, and I noticed my older kitty Willy was behaving very strangely, squatting and straining. I knew that male cats have a tendency to have urinary issues, and that this can be a life-threatening situation, so we frantically started looking for a place to take him. We happened upon the clinic, called them, and explained that we had an emergency. Even though we were not prior patients and had not made an appointment, they said to bring him in right away. We brought him in and they took great care of him! They even helped me apply for Care Credit to cover the costs. Everyone there was wonderful, and willy is home with us and all better now! I just started taking my two cats to Cat Care Clinic at the recommendation of a doctor that visits the Indy Humane Society. Β The staff are all so friendly and warm with both my kitties and myself. Β I bought a flea and tick collar to replace the monthly treatments I had been using as the collar lasts 8 months and was cheaper. Β She also gave Rusty a shot of antibiotic and another shot to relieve the itching and stop his scratching. Β She said she would not charge me for this service or the office visit as well.Dr. B could have easily done what I have had other "vets" do over the years and find a way to make it my fault or "just something that happens" Β and charged me a couple of hundred more dollars today. In a world where we all have to watch who we trust, today I learned that I can trust the Cat Care Clinic and "Dr. B." I will never take my cats to any other clinic.

Let your kitties keep their claws. Read Less
