General Info
Franklin Falls Animal Clinic is a veterinary practice located in Indianapolis, IN. It is committed to offering comprehensive, high-quality services to pets in the community. Based in Indianapolis, United States, the clinic is renowned for its reliable and professional approach to animal health. The experienced team provides comprehensive wellness plans, regular check-ups, and a broad range of treatments tailored to each pet’s specific needs. Services often include the following: Ultrasound, Preventive Medicine, Parasite Prevention, Radiology (X-rays), Bloodwork, Surgery, and Laser Therapy. These procedures are performed expertly on the dog, cat, and other pets and involve both preventive and curative measures. The center is suitably fitted out, and its layout reduces the animals’ anxiety during veterinary visits, which is crucial for precise diagnosis and treatment. Clients note that the hospital’s staff goes above and beyond to care for their pets and that the veterinarians are always willing to talk about any issues. Franklin Falls Animal Clinic continues to grow as a cornerstone of the Indianapolis pet owning community. From helping young pets begin life on the right foot to assisting senior pets with chronic issues, the clinic’s experts are always ready to lend a hand. Their love for animals is also apparent in their desire to constantly learn more and their passion for teaching others about animal care. This ensures that every pet receives the best possible care. It strives to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and actively engages with the local community. Franklin Falls Animal Clinic offers an experience to Indiana families, including those in Indianapolis, which focuses on behavioral practices and environmental factors along with care routines that can be effortlessly integrated into daily life. During the initial consultations, clinic professionals look at a few basic behavior patterns such as rest periods, and food motivation together with toy interest levels and social interaction while assessing general body language. The team also looks at a pet’s joint range, coat health, ear sensitivity, muscle tension, hydration levels, gums and eyes during the exam. Through this comprehensive approach, I can bridge the gap between early signs (like avoidance of physical contact and hesitation with stairs) and strategic interventions for future challenges. Franklin Falls Animal Clinic delivers intricate wellness programs with preventative screenings and bloodwork, dental evaluations, orthopedic care, and behavior-informed treatment paths. Recommendations will also vary depending on your lifestyle (e.g., apartment living). Yard Space, Single Pet vs. homes with multiple pets and frequent travel. Care rhythm is adjusted in accordance with the pet’s temperament and attention span as well as home pacing rather than forcing a predetermined scheme. The clinic carefully develops each pet's behavioral and health profile over time, which helps it make individualized recommendations based on the family’s priorities. This allows caregivers to give efficient and compassionate care because of the changes in energy levels, sound reactions, and appetite which are typically observed. Franklin Falls Animal Clinic helps Indianapolis families and other Indiana residents set up veterinary practices that fit their lifestyles and the psychological needs of the pets to make each visit more effective and peaceful.

We just adopted a puppy and she seemed to have a bladder infection when we got her. Because she was a new pup we knew virtually nothing about her. Her doctor was amazing. Ive never had such a comprehensive vet check ever. We found out our new pup not only had a bladder infection but also a skin infection, worms, and a few (currently) benign tumors, amd scar tissue. I was heartbroken at how this pup had been treated before we got her. But also I was terrified of the bill we would get with this amount of problems. But we got out of there for about $200 for the full check up and all her antibiotics! I fully trust them. They seemed more than knowledgeable and caring. I'm astounded that this clinic has received anything but a 5 star review. Read Less

I brought my 6 year-old cat in for a wellness check, as a first time client/patient. The cat had been experiencing severe wheezing, coughing and the appearance of difficulty in swallowing for several days. Mullen, the veterinarian, told me I should have made a VIDEO of the cat during a wheezing spell. My god, who would have thought of filming their pet during a such a time, and how could anyone think of starting a camera, pushing it up under a sick animal's face, and then recording it? Am I a movie director, who would tell the cat what to do and how to do it, for the sake of a silly woman doctor's ridiculous nonsense? This "doctor" did not administer treatment to my cat in any way, even though she agreed with me that the cat was not feeling well. At the very least she should have provided my cat with a mild antibiotic to ally symptoms and possibly prevent further issues. But no. During the exam, Mullen said the cat had been well-taken care of, but had some wax in her ears. Would it have hurt this woman to have mildly cleaned the cats ears, as this is a difficult procedure, requiring delicate touch, and an animal doctor could have done it better than I? But no, Mullen didn't want to help my cat at all, apparently. A cotton swab or two with a bit of oil was too much to give of this "doctor." In asking about giving current vaccinations, the technician told me that my ADULT cat should be given the full compliment once, and then should RETURN FOR A SECOND ROUND of the same amount in a couple weeks! This is complete baloney and a financial rip-off. Her reasoning was to "make sure the vaccinations take." How many times would they have to be done in order to "take." What poppy-cock and what a fraud. In sixty years of pet ownership I have NEVER heard such a lie. Further, if Mullen thought, as she said, that my cat was healthy that visit, there is no reason why she shouldn't have been vaccinated at the time. Mullen just wanted two more office visits, plus payment for two UNNECESSARY rounds of vaccine. No, Mullen, you aren't going to get even one. For doing absolutely nothing to help my cat, this loopy, homely, fraudulent woman charged me over $$105.00. I had to ASK for the invoice. I was charged $7.00 for "technician fee." Excuse me, but shouldn't the "technicians" be on Mullen's payroll, and not MINE? I didn't ask for a "technician" (whomever it was) to attend. PLUS, there was an additional charge of $11.00 for the "blood draw." Why wasn't this part of the antibody test or even the exam? Everything Mullen does is an additional charge. She is a complete FRAUD. I have filed a complaint with the Indianapolis Better Business Bureau. Additionally, if my concerns are not resolved, I intend to file with the state licensing board, which receives complaints through the Indiana Attorney General. These issues with Mullen will begin there. Read Less
