maybe i am missing something or it is just my bad luck with having to go in on the weekends to pick up a pet for a friend. This past weekend the service was horrible, but only the girl at the front desk. I have done this many times and the bill is prepaid but they always seem to not understand this. Usually they are very polite just confused. this weekend the girl was very rude and snarky. It must have been an on going theme because while i was there someone called and got frustrated and hung up on her. 2 other people came in and were not happy. I have begged my friend to find a new place for her pup. Now i have put my foot down. I will NOT pick up her dog if she doesn't find another place to bored her pup! Read Less

I had my 2 cats teeth cleaned. Dr. Freeland called me during the cleanings to inform me that my male cat had some decay occurring on 4 of his teeth. He was informative and suggested it was a good idea to go ahead and extract them, but left the decision to me. He was not pushy at all. We have taken our dog there since we adopted him 5 years ago. They have done a great job taking care of him since the first visit. He doesn’t exactly love the exam, but is always excited before/after the visit. Our dog has developed some allergies over the past few years and Dr. Freeland has given advice without breaking the bank on treatment. My husband and I moved to Indianapolis in June of 2016 and had a friend recommend this vet for our 11 year old Boxer Morpheous.  We began seeing Dr. Tiffany Premo and I was very impressed from the first time she saw Morph.  She took the time to really look at him, examine him, and listen to what I was saying.  She cared for him as if he were her dog.  Every visit was the same, she never rushed us, always did a thorough exam and advised us fully on options.  Then on 3 Aug 2017, the horrible, but unavoidable day came when Morph let us know that something was not right.  We immediately took him in and Dr. Premo made time to examine him.  Even with no appointment she did not rush.  She was able to determine what was wrong and gave us the option to get a more detailed diagnoses before making our decision.  Unfortunately, it was confirmed that he would not make it and we had to have him put down.  The compassion, care and honesty were unsurpassed.  I cannot say enough about the doctors and staff.  Without their care we never would have made it through this dark day.  I highly recommend this vet. My giant great dane and extremely tiny chihuahua get only the best care, and that care comes from Dr. Premo at Freeland Animal Hospital. We followed Dr. Premo from Best Friends on Bash road (when it closed), and we are perfectly fine driving 30 minutes to Freeland to see her for all of our needs. They offer an amazing healthy pet plan: we pay a set price per month per dog, which includes all of their yearly vaccines and 10% off any service/product we purchase. Plus, we also see the vet FOR FREE, any time we want. So, instead of wondering if we should see the vet, we see the vet. As a result,  you get a dog that is comfortable going to the vet and a doctor that knows your pet well. We've had quite a few problems with our giant boy, and Dr. Premo has held our hand the whole way. She's recommended specialists when necessary and supported quickly for any questions we've had. Plus, there are several veterinarian doctors that work out of Freeland, which means you can usually get in ASAP if needed (you just might not see your normal vet). They are a veterinarian hospital first, which means they can do anything from routine care to surgery. We've had a growth removed from our great dane's paw, our chihuahua spayed, and a cat declawed (via laser) all at Freeland. If you need a good vet, this is your place. Dr Freeland and Dr Premo are great with animals. I have 3 cats and I have been using Freeland Animal Hospital for 3-4 years now. All the staff is friendly and polite. One of my cats is older and I like the fact that Dr Freeland gives me options on how to handle her issues. For instance, when she was having allergy symptoms this summer (like hayfever), he recommended an inexpensive OTC anti-histamine for her to take instead of some expensive pharmaceutical. Freeland Animal Hospital has been helping me take care of my cats since 2004. One was an insulin dependent diabetic. Willie lived to be 19 and did not die as a result of his diabetes. Dr. Freeland helped me to get him there. I am a critical care/cardiac nurse and recognize good care when it is there, and I have gotten excellent care here. I can not say enough about Dr. Premo, Corrie and everyone that had anything to do with our urgent visit yesterday with our baby, Dickens!
