Milla the millz or whateva you call yo self...You are WRONG and should be very embaressed and ashamed of your self. I am a very PROUD BLACK WOMAN and not once have I been disrespected or treated differently. Anytime I have needed Dr. Keeker he has responded promptly and is very Empathetic. I am also a single mother with a special needs child and because of this Doctor and his staff my daughter was able to keep her emotional support dog. To throw around the word racist, so freely in todays world , is disgusting. I have been going here for years!!!!! I have worked with all types of doctors for more than 9years. I know what a good doctor is made of. Dr. Keeker and his staff are a BLESSING and our whole entire family is thankful for him.

My dog Spats was hit by a car this past Friday night and I had to take him to Indy Vet because there is no 24/7 care in Bloomington Indiana! Indy vet wanted to charge me 4-7thousand dollars to fix my dogs broken leg and they wanted the money upfront! I googled orthopedic surgeons in Indy and Dr. Keeker came up and I called. He immediately told me to get my dog from Indy Vet, to meet him at his office, and he gave me his personal cell number, and didn’t have one concern of payment. He took my dog in without question, did my dogs surgery, and Spats is now home with me! He is an angel and I will continue to drive an hour and half to have him take care of my dog! He isn’t about the money he’s about the care of your animal! I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr from the bottom of my heart!

This review is for a friend of mine.
Yesterday she took two of her dogs to be put down, of which she had one for 15 years and the other for nearly 20. They both had their own physical problems that lead her to the decision of letting them go. HOWEVER, when she expected Dr. Keeker to be compassionate and caring during this difficult time she received a cold and uncomforting attitude not only from him but also his staff.
The worst part, is that he made mistakes with both dogs. The first he missed the vein and made him cry out of pain and the other he did not prepare enough of the medication to fulfill of job!!
Can you imagine?!?! Saying goodbye is hard enough but witnessing such carelessness? Heartbreaking.
He was not the vet that they usually go to, but they had to settle because her old vet had retired.
Not recommended!!!! Do NOT go here!!!!

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Keeker and Michelle for years. My boxers love them both and their rates are very reasonable. One was hit by a car and paralyzed from the waist down almost 5 years ago. He now walks and gets around on his own for the most part. I never though he'd walk again at all, so thank you Doc and Michelle!! And a special thanks to Michelle for holding my 13 year old girl Kaya and crying with me when I had to put her to sleep a couple of weeks ago. Love, love, love you both!!

We had to go here instead of the airport animal hospital that didn't open till 6 & I'm so happy we did! We called & the doctor kindly stayed open for us. My pom had gotten into a fight w a bigger dog...
We had to go here instead of the airport animal hospital that didn't open till 6 & I'm so happy we did! We called & the doctor kindly stayed open for us. My pom had gotten into a fight w a bigger dog & had a huge gash in his leg, we knew he needed stitches & I worried about the $$$.
I was distraught but Dr. Keeker was very kind & reassuring. Not to mention the price was very reasonable! My family & friends will be sure to bring our business here from now on.

They have always taken great care of my pets. We first went there when we had an emergency because one of our cats have been injured. Dr. Keeker was very professional and sympathetic with helping us with our cat. Since that time, we have continued to take our animals to him. His prices are extremely reasonable. I have been to other vets where I feel like they are trying to take me for all they can. But I never feel that way here. I've never had to wait long to get my pet seen. I just recently took one of our cats who had been acting sick and injured to him, and after a couple appointments she's as good as new playing with the other cats. I would highly recommend this facility.

I have been going there for over a year and have had no issues. I am not extra sensitive so most of the stuff other people are complaining about aren't issues in my book lol. I am also black (As if that truly makes a difference) and have had no situations of them being racist at all. The doc knows his stuff and it priced very well for a private vet. Obviously, if you want to get cheaper prices then you can go to the income-based places, but outside of that this place has some of the best prices.

The other review for this veterinary office led us to try it out a couple months ago, but, sadly, we did not have as good of an experience. The building and grounds aren't in the best shape, but that isn't even my complaint. While it WAS easy to get an appointment, It was over $80 just for the office visit. Their website said that they take Care Credit, but they do not. The reply to this was that they had not checked the website in a long time. There didn't seem to be much of an interest in updating it nor any apology for being led to believe that Care Credit could be used for the pricey visit.After tests, the doctor said that our cat who was the patient did not have a thyroid condition as was previously diagnosed elsewhere. The purpose of the visit was to have her seen so she could get a refill on her thyroid medication. (Previous vet is just too far of a distance to take her.) While we believe the new diagnosis must be correct since she is doing well off of the medication now that it is out of her system completely and told she is in very good health for being a nearly eighteen-year-old senior, nothing was ever found to explain some of her behavior and symptoms...My dad agreed to have more tests done and was told it should be another $40-$50 dollars in addition to what he already spent. He never heard anything more until recently when he received a bill for nearly $90.Extremely expensive vet in our view, not especially helpful or welcoming, and the attitude about misinformation on their website was bothersome. It appears the site has now been updated, as I no longer see Care Credit listed, but it is very disappointing that we still have yet to find a decent vet in Indianapolis that charges reasonable fees. I doubt we will return and do not recommend.

My family has been taking our pets to Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. During those 30 years, our pets have been generally healthy and have lived long lives. As I became an adult and got pets of my own, I have looked no further than this clinic. Dr. Keeker, who purchased the hospital in 2011, has been great. It is a breeze to get an appointment, and I have always been seen on time. Dr. Keeker and his staff treat their patients (and their human owners) with respect. He also makes it known that he is always available in an emergency. This veterinary hospital is reasonably priced and has never tired to push unnecessary services or treatments. It is also important to note that they have boarding available. Although it may not be as comfortable as a regular boarding kennel, my dogs have always returned sans complaints.If you're in the Eagledale area--or even if you aren't, give the Lafayette Road Veterinary hospital a try. Your pets will thank you!

When I was a young child, my parents took our dogs to Lafayette Road Animal Hospital for veterinary care. This facility over the years has had many changes, but I have never forgotten the excellent care my pets have received since I was very young. I took my cat to a vet clinic close to my home that was staffed with young veterinarians. After my three pets received excellent veterinary care from Dr. Stark and his staff at Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital while I was on vacation, I decided to transfer all of my pets to his care. I grew very disenchanted with the vet clinic close to my home when the veteriinarian did not seem to take an active interest in my sick cat and was willing to let her die rather than perform necessary surgery to diagnose her condition. I took my cat to Dr. Charles Stark at Lafayette Road for a second opinion. I was so glad I did! Dr. Stark assessed my cat's condition immediately and decided to perform the necessary surgery. He saved my cat's life. My cat is well now. Dr. Stark is a seasoned veterinarian who is very knowledgeable in his profession. He is very personable with his clients and he is very caring toward the animals he treats. He is so dedicated to his profession that I often wonder when he takes a day off. I trust Dr. Stark with the care of my pets and I have a high regard and confidence in him in what he does. I would not take my pets any where else for veterinary care, even though Lafayette Road is a half hour drive from my home. I will continue to take all of my pets now and in the future to Dr. Stark until the day he decides to retire.

Yesterday she took two of her dogs to be put down, of which she had one for 15 years and the other for nearly 20. There didn't seem to be much of an interest in updating it nor any apology for being led to believe that Care Credit could be used for the pricey visit.After tests, the doctor said that our cat who was the patient did not have a thyroid condition as was previously diagnosed elsewhere. The purpose of the visit was to have her seen so she could get a refill on her thyroid medication. (Previous vet is just too far of a distance to take her.) While we believe the new diagnosis must be correct since she is doing well off of the medication now that it is out of her system completely and told she is in very good health for being a nearly eighteen-year-old senior, nothing was ever found to explain some of her behavior and symptoms...My dad agreed to have more tests done and was told it should be another $40-$50 dollars in addition to what he already spent. He never heard anything more until recently when he received a bill for nearly $90.Extremely expensive vet in our view, not especially helpful or welcoming, and the attitude about misinformation on their website was bothersome. It appears the site has now been updated, as I no longer see Care Credit listed, but it is very disappointing that we still have yet to find a decent vet in Indianapolis that charges reasonable fees. I doubt we will return and do not recommend.

Dr. Keeker is an awesome vet. He's very good with my cats, the prices are affordable, and they have same day appointments.

My family has been taking our pets to Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. During those 30 years, our pets have been generally healthy and have lived long lives. As I became an adult and got pets of my own, I have looked no further than this clinic. Dr. Keeker, who purchased the hospital in 2011, has been great. It is a breeze to get an appointment, and I have always been seen on time. Dr. Keeker and his staff treat their patients (and their human owners) with respect. He also makes it known that he is always available in an emergency. This veterinary hospital is reasonably priced and has never tired to push unnecessary services or treatments. It is also important to note that they have boarding available. Although it may not be as comfortable as a regular boarding kennel, my dogs have always returned sans complaints.If you're in the Eagledale area--or even if you aren't, give the Lafayette Road Veterinary hospital a try. Your pets will thank you!

When I was a young child, my parents took our dogs to Lafayette Road Animal Hospital for veterinary care. This facility over the years has had many changes, but I have never forgotten the excellent care my pets have received since I was very young. I took my cat to a vet clinic close to my home that was staffed with young veterinarians. After my three pets received excellent veterinary care from Dr. Stark and his staff at Lafayette Road Veterinary Hospital while I was on vacation, I decided to transfer all of my pets to his care. I grew very disenchanted with the vet clinic close to my home when the veteriinarian did not seem to take an active interest in my sick cat and was willing to let her die rather than perform necessary surgery to diagnose her condition. I took my cat to Dr. Charles Stark at Lafayette Road for a second opinion. I was so glad I did! Dr. Stark assessed my cat's condition immediately and decided to perform the necessary surgery. He saved my cat's life. My cat is well now. Dr. Stark is a seasoned veterinarian who is very knowledgeable in his profession. He is very personable with his clients and he is very caring toward the animals he treats. He is so dedicated to his profession that I often wonder when he takes a day off. I trust Dr. Stark with the care of my pets and I have a high regard and confidence in him in what he does. I would not take my pets any where else for veterinary care, even though Lafayette Road is a half hour drive from my home. I will continue to take all of my pets now and in the future to Dr. Stark until the day he decides to retire.
