Each step is considerate of the pet growth, healing and recovery stages as well as Indiana’s seasonal needs. Community is the building block of everything we do at Monon Animal Hospital. A lot of clients recommend the clinic to friends because of the check-up calls and extra help for remembering medication duties. Meticulous record-keeping ensures the continuity of care, from brief checkups to lengthy post-operative journeys. They understand that Indianapolis life does not stop for appointments, which is why they offer flexibility in both scheduling and care plans. Each visit to Monon Animal Hospital ensures that pet owners walk away with the necessary understanding, assurance, and a customized plan for their pets’ future well-being.

1 star of 5. Not good. November 2021 Dr. Simpson is a HUGE disappointment as a vet. Do not chose him at this practice or it will surely be a regret. One would expect vets likes pets, dogs, but Dr. Simpson, after a decade being clients (perhaps because he’s having money trouble post pandemic I can’t say) would not renew a prescription my dogs had for years to help with her very itchy uncomfortable skin until she was seen. Seen? Why? There is no reason for me to bring her in, she is well and I’d offered to pay a service charge but then I learned…….. oh, she needed vaccines as well. Seriously? What is this? Dr. Simpson is clearly fine allowing my dog to suffer. Dr. Simpson insists my pet receive vaccines I do not want for my dog. I am hoping as I leave this practice permanently, anyone reading this PLEASE think twice and not chose Dr. Simpson as you pets vet. I can only guess it’s personal but it’s of absolutely no interest for me to pursue the full story but to warn potential clients, Dr. Simpson will not help you when you need it. It’s just not worth your time. Read Less

My wife and I used to take our cat, Cready, to this clinic when we lived in Indianapolis. The last time we went was late 2010, but I felt like leaving a review in retrospect.Dr. Simpson is a wonderful veterinarian who has an excellent bedside manner, patience (made evident by his work with Cready who is not always cooperative), and obviously knows his stuff. He also seemed to know when Cready had had enough and was able to coax cooperation out of our cat when it was not forthcoming. Dr. Simpson is confident in his work as the first visit we took Cready in for some ringworm and prescribed some medicine without doing blood work. I've worked with several vets and Dr. Simpson seems to have experience beyond his years. He understands the financial burden veterinary work can be as well and tries to be sensitive to that end. Furthermore, he is a very nice person to just chat with. The clinic is clean and Cready likes it there (when we would arrive, not by the time we would leave) unlike any of the practices we have been to since moving. The vet techs were also extremely nice and obviously loved animals. The friendliness, and cleanliness there is unparalleled. I cannot recommend Dr. Simpson and Monon Animal Hospital enough. Read Less
