We were on the road and our dog broke her nail. They fit us in between appointments and took care of her nail. We were back on the road in no time. The staff were all very friendly, professional and best of all very good with our dog. She is a rescue dog and can be a handful to say the least. The clinic was very clean and welcoming. On top of that the price was very reasonable. If we lived around here we would make it our regular vet clinic. Many thanks to them!

It was our first time at this vet. It was the reviews of other patrons that led to my decision to go here and i was not disappointed. The doc and staff are so caring and even made multiple phone calls in the week that followed our appt to check on my furbaby!!! I would recommend to anyone looking for a new pet dr. office or new to the south side area. Way to go South 31 Vet Clinic, you guys are awesome!!!

First time I have been to this Vet and it was unfortunately to have my 16 year old best friend euthanized. From the moment I called them to make the appointment, after calling several different uncaring and rude veterinarian office employees from other locations including the office that I had taken my Baby to for 16 years, they were so empathetic. They were sensitive to the state our family was in and able to make the appointment quickly ( Saturday-next day). The Vet and his Tech had a great bedside manner and explained what was happening without giving too much information. We were in the room the entire time and he allowed us plenty of time to say goodbye and cry after it was over. The office lady was awesome. I didn't think to pay attention to their names because I really wasn't all there. They did make my sickly boy comfortable during his last moments in this world and he was never a big fan of going to the Vet. He was calm and peaceful. You can tell that these people are in the pet doctor business for the right reasons and love animals. If I ever bring myself to adopt a pet again...they have won me over.

We took our 90lb American bulldog here after our vet had stitched up his leg 3 times and the stitches kept coming out after only 1 day. They were great and treated him completely different from our vet. The stitches stayed put and his leg has healed up great. They were so nice and friendly and you could tell they love dogs. Changed our vet on the spot.

I have been a client of Dr Mclaughlin's for nearly 20 years. I have had great service from him for that time. My 17 year old bichon had his last moments in that building, in my arms. I love my dogs. They are my family. On my last visit in November a new employee jerked my dogs neck with a slip collar. He is a small bichon mix. It could have easily injured him. I angrily asked them to remove the slip collar and to not choke my dog. I was met with a condescending and rude response. I called later in the day and told Kim, a long time employee about my experience. There was no flow thru. No apology. I chose to change vet care after much thought. Today, I called to have my records transferred to another clinic. After multiple phone calls, and most of the afternoon, I was rudely told by the same employee that was rude to me in November, that as I am no longer a client of US 31 clinic because I am transferring to another vet. Mocked me for changing vets because of a slip collar and proceeded to tell me that my new vet would over medicate my dog and laughed at me. I am beyond estonishied. In truth I received years of consistent great care at this business from Dr Mcloughlin. However, this experience will be my last. It's really a shame.

I am a truck driver. Could not find any other Vet that would give me an appointment quickly in the area (it is hard to stick to appointments driving OTR). South 31 scheduled me an appointment for the same day I called and took care of everything. They were awesome friendly people too who were VERY concerned with making sure my pup was happy/comfortable during the visit. Would highly recommend. Will come again next time pup needs anything.

I have been a client of Dr Mclaughlin's for nearly 20 years. I have had great service from him for that time. My 17 year old bichon had his last moments in that building, in my arms. I love my dogs. They are my family. On my last visit in November a new employee jerked my dogs neck with a slip collar. He is a small bichon mix. It could have easily injured him. I angrily asked them to remove the slip collar and to not choke my dog. I was met with a condescending and rude response. I called later in the day and told Kim, a long time employee about my experience. There was no flow thru. No apology. I chose to change vet care after much thought. Today, I called to have my records transferred to another clinic. After multiple phone calls, and most of the afternoon, I was rudely told by the same employee that was rude to me in November, that as I am no longer a client of US 31 clinic because I am transferring to another vet. Mocked me for changing vets because of a slip collar and proceeded to tell me that my new vet would over medicate my dog and laughed at me. I am beyond estonishied. In truth I received years of consistent great care at this business from Dr Mcloughlin. However, this experience will be my last. It's really a shame.

I have been a client of Dr Mclaughlin's for nearly 20 years. I have had great service from him for that time. My 17 year old bichon had his last moments in that building, in my arms. I love my dogs. This place is so amazing and so kind. I have had to put down two of my 17 year old beloved babies just a year apart from eachother due to health reasons and when I couldn't handle the emotion of it all, they helped ease that pain. Even donated to Purdue University's Vet Clinic in honor of one of my babies Max. Thanks again!!

I went here for thw first time last week. I was pleasantly surprised and how great they were. I have a 9 month old husky who just loves everyone and of course jumps on everyone. They were great with her. They really do love animals here and will do all they can to help. They are also not too expensive. I will be taking my dogs back here.

Took my newly found stray kitty here a couple of weeks ago for shots and a check-up. The staff were friendly and helpful, and seemed to really care about Cat Scraps, my cat, and my boyfriend and I. Prices were reasonable, and it was easy to schedule an appointment. I will definitely go back :)

I love this veterinary office! They are so sweet and patient with my anxious little dog, it really puts my mind at ease. Very kind and caring staff. I recommend them to everyone now.

I am a truck driver. Could not find any other Vet that would give me an appointment quickly in the area (it is hard to stick to appointments driving OTR). South 31 scheduled me an appointment for the same day I called and took care of everything. They were awesome friendly people too who were VERY concerned with making sure my pup was happy/comfortable during the visit. Would highly recommend. Will come again next time pup needs anything.

We, my cat Bella and I have always had pleasant experiences at South 31 Veterinary Clinic. She loves to snoop around and feels quite comfortable jumping up on things to explore. She is never afraid when the nurses or doctor is probing her or anything.
