They have the prescription food some of my animals require, and the reliable flea control for each of them. Easy access to parking. Separate exit door away from front reception room, so a stressed cat doesn't have to go through an entry room of excited dogs. They do follow-up calls checking on animals to see how they are doing. Friendly staff and veterinarians, my only concern is most of the procedures are done away from you behind a closed door. Still within ear shot but, I've had issues arise from previous vets and I am still weary of that kind of practice. They are affordable and have discounts constantly. Such a great experience! They really care about may baby girl and it shows! My pooch needed surgery after a bladder infection came to bladder stones, more than 75 of them! I was scared, but they eased my mind, took wonderful care of her at a fair price with hugs and a smile. I love this place and so does my four-legged baby girl! She had an awful bladder infection that actually turned into 75+ stones! She needed surgery and every one of the staff members was so sweet, caring and informative. The vet, Amy Jamieson took the time to explain everything, the process, special diet afterwards, what to look for during recovery, etc. in a patient and caring way. She is very approachable and kind, really caring about your loved one. The staff could tell how concerned I was about my baby and the worry about the cost. They assured me they would make her better, they had done this before, she was going to be fine - with an actual hug and hand squeeze to confirm they got this! Moreover, they were completely transparent with the cost estimates (which ended up being less than what they quoted!). The exceptional customer service is paramount here! They called every day after the surgery to check on my little one (is she eating, is she going to the bathroom, how is she acting?) How wonderful!  The front desk reception is kind and organized, just making it a lovely experience. This place was very welcoming. We just moved to the area and my lil fur babies can be difficult with new people and they were very gentle. I came to get my rabbits nails cut and the people here were so nice and helpful and took care of my rabbit so well. They took such good care of him. I also a few months prior took him here for nuetering and the procedure was done perfectly and they took great care of him and i will definitely always come here and reccomend this place to everyone. I barely have words for how wonderful they all were. We brought our sweet baby bug, Phoenix, in and we knew we would have to say our final goodbyes to him. It was horrifying. He was our baby but the wonderful people at Barden's went above and beyond for us. I received a signed card from everyone in the clinic and was in tears all over again. I just want to thank the Dr's and the amazing staff at Bardens . All of them were so compassionate and professional with my furbaby Sweet Pea when she fractured her lil leg. They immediately told me to bring her in the morning it happened . You have no idea how thankful I am for the care that you gave her and the support you gave me as I was falling apart the day it happened. Bardens got my pet ball python, Monty in the day he was sick and fixed him all up. Thanks to all the doctors the 2 we saw were great!!!!! He's doing really well and shed all by himself in 1 piece this last time, which usually he has trouble and I have to help him! We wanted to say thank you to Dr. Norton, Dr. Cherry and staff for the recent compassionate care given to our little best friend. After battling diabetes, and more recently, bladder cancer, we finally had to let our dog, Jasper go. But the care and compassion that everyone at Barden's Animal Clinic showed us was above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Norton called us on several occasions, late into the evening, just to see how Jasper was doing. Barden's did everything they could to enhance his quality of life. For that we are very thankful! I love Bardens Animal Clinic in Lowell and their staff is so nice and helpful. I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else but to Dr. Norton. He did a laser surgery on our small dog and she doesn't even have a scar from it! The local competition for Bardens doesn't even hold a candle to the quality of care, concern or treatment that your fur babies will receive here. took my well trained pedigree show cat there for a neuter & front declaw. Went in & came out blind! Never was told about the risks from the meds (ketamine, which has been recalled several times but continued to use since it's cheap) and never told about possible blindness. Only informed about swelling & infection. That's it. Never did anyone say ""im sorry"" just a ""call us & let us know"" deal. Staff is very friendly, but does not make up for my cat losing it's eyesight. Had I known that this could happen or was properly informed of the risk, I would of never had this done to our beloved cat. a cat that once chased my 5 yr old kid & knew several commands such as fetch & catch, is now blind & does nothing but miss it's litter box! Explaining to my heartbroken kid why her cat won't chase/play w/her just turns my stomach knowing that this could of been avoided :,( n Read Less
