The clinic took my dog Sam on as a new client, even during these crazy pandemic times. They were very efficient in getting her from my vehicle and taking her inside. Her veterinarian called me to explain all that was done and any recommendations. I paid (a very reasonable sum) over the phone with my credit card. When I had a issue with my Fur-baby Peanut the other morning I called and they told me to bring him right over. The nurse came out to my car took all my information about want was going on with Peanut took him in while I waited in the car Dr Headley checked him out and called me himself and told me what was going out and then the nurse brought peanut back out to the car with some meds . I love this place the staff is great and I can’t say enough good things about Dr Headley he is Totally AWESOME he is such a kind caring man and the way he is with my Peanut is amazing!!! We have been going to this Vet for several years. My husband went into the hospital with CHF and one of pets had gotten some kind of sore on the side of his face at the same time. It was bleeding. Leaking and smelled awful. I contacted them to get our rottie in ASAP. I was told by Charlotte whom was very nasty on the phone with me that they have no Vets in. I was told on my other pet that had just been in that they would not refill any prescriptions for that pet. I was told to put a cone on my pet and if he comes in there to be seen he will leave with a cone. I guess she must be a Veterinarian there and no one told me. I asked for an antibiotic to get by till we could get in to Dr, Hadley which was off all week. I was told I will ask a Vet when I have one here. She then made me an appointment 10 days later. Charlotte called me the next day and told me the other Vet Dr. Kuhli, will not prescribe an antibiotic. Put a cone on the dog and give him Benadryl. It was there cat day and she would not get me in under these circumstances. But I could come and sit there and sometime between 1-5 they would see if the could squeeze me in. With a husband admitted to a hospital I could not come and sit all day waiting for a maybe we will get you in. I asked if Dr Hadley could be contacted since he was been the Vet that sees them. I was told NO. I asked what is going with this place. I was told by Charlotte that their doctors deserve a vacation and the owner was on maternity leave. When I asked don’t they prepare for back up help I was cut off by what do u want to do. Do u want an appointment for the next week. I told her I already had an appointment but she apparently she did not bother to put it in the schedule. This is very cruel and a pet with a smelly, bleeding infection could end up with sepsis he was hiding in the bathroom and in pain. There was no concern for our pet and apparently the Vet on staff did not care to get me in. They don’t seem to cater to big dogs at this place. Charlotte should be fired. I have been been to other veterinarians in my day that have never had an office be so nasty and scarastic. This place is all about money and will take a good chunk of it. After all they have to pay for the fancy place to impress everyone. I have had my fill of this place and I was able to find a good Veterinarian that gave me good advice on the phone and got me in as soon as possible. The passion that was shown and care was unbelievable compared to this awful place. I will be going to Sheila Hartnett in Elkhart for now on. When I called to cancel the appointment again there was no concern or apology from Melanie on the phone. Just glad to here he is doing ok. Very cold and uncaring....people. Beware! Read Less
