I took my dog in for a stomach ache due to her dog food formula being changed(age9) The vet at this office tried to take me for hundreds and hundred of dollars. He wanted to run very expensive xrays every time I came in the door. He never ran a blood test , heart worm test nothing. We told the office manager that we would have liked to had other less expensive test looked at first and another opinion. We ended up googling our dogs problem and were able to get her well. We called the groomer at this office for a nail trim since they have her shot records and were told we could not longer get her nails trimmed because we refused treatment the previous visit. Keep in mind the vet never saw us on our 2nd visit and expensive vets were ordered due to the office managers recommendation. Do yourself a favor and never go to this vet. Read Less

The people there are wonderfull, I have been buying my dogs prescription food there for about 18 months.I have had my dog on Banfield's pet plan since she was a puppy. I have enjoyed their staff ery much at Mooresville Animal Clinic ,and have found that friends use them and are very pleased with the care of their fur babies, so I'm transferring o them.I live in Mooresville and it's closer. We made a very difficult decision of putting our dog down today and the very insensitive staff insisted that we try more treatment before we euthanize him. I can’t remember a time where I was more infuriated and embarrassed in my entire life. My suggestion is to stay far away from this clinic. Read Less

Dr. Abdalla is the best. He is compassionate and very involved in the emotional as well as physical lives of his patients. He has bee very sympathetic about having to put down a cat I rescued. When I took my 2 new kitties in for vaccination & check ups he remembered my sad experience and was happy I have 2 healthy cats finally. The reason I didn't give 5 starts is the price for nail trims which is $18/cat. Other veterinarian clinics charge $12/cat. When I asked the office manager about a discount or only trimming front claws she was dismissive and was not willing to work with me. Decatur veterinary clinic trims claws for $12/cat so I'll go there. The office manager is not an asset to this operation. Read Less

One day my dog stopped walking very suddenly. Our previous vet couldn't "fit" us in, so I asked on facebook where a great place was to go, and Dr. Abdalla came highly recommended. He not only got my dog walking again, but gave us the homework we needed in order to truly extend his life. His entire staff from the get-go was emotionally supportive and did everything they could for our family. We would have had to put our dog down had it not been for this amazing place. The care my cat received here after tangling with a raccoon was amazing.  The staff truly loves animals and even the girl behind the counter had to come in and pet Gizmo and give him some love. The vet spent the time to examine him and check him out and didn't order any expensive test or xrays.  They call the next day to see how he was doing and to see if I had any additional questions or concerns. Dr. Abdalla treats our dogs better than our human doctors treat us! He helped our boy Newfie pup when other vets did not find his underlying illness. Our dogs actually like seeing him, even with getting shots, and temp checks. The staff has always been able to work us in when it was urgent, no matter how busy they were. Was very fond of them until they displayed horrible ethics and lack of responsibility for their shortcomings. They had a computer system failure and lost all records to all their patients. I am unable to get my dog groomed now and no one will take him because the hospital has no records that he is up to date on his shots. Tags mean nothing, bank statement to show i paid the hospital $142 just 5 months ago mean nothing either!! Mooresville Animal Hospital's response, "There is absolutely nothing I can do to help. Unless we know you and recognize you personally, you have to pay for his vaccinations again"!! So disappointed in this place. Looks like I will be driving my dog clear across town for his vetting and groomer needs......after I pay for his vaccinations again!! Read Less

When we moved to Mooresville four years ago, we asked some friends for a local veterinarian  to take care of our pet.  We are so glad that we found this one!Dr Tamer and his staff are easily the most genuinely caring people we have dealt with in our 30+ years of pet ownership.  They have excellent people skills as well as a calm and welcoming manner with the pets.Our oldest dog is very shy and avoids people contact, but with their patience, she stays pretty calm and has not had any difficulties.This afternoon, we introduced our newest pet and again, the calm and caring manner addressed the insecurity of the new pet.  As a rescued dog, she likes to growl to warn people to keep away.  Dr Tamer and his staff were able to calm her down without rushing the process.  No muzzle was needed as shots were given and blood was drawn for heart worm tests.  By the end of the exam, the pup was eating treats and peanut butter and no longer hiding under the chair when lowered from the exam table. The doctor and staff's people skills are also appreciated because they share the reasoning behind their approach so that the pet owner understands and feels free to ask questions.  And when it comes for making the tough decision about ending a pet's suffering, the doctor and staff are truly compassionate.  We had to make the tough call a couple years ago with another rescued animal.  When we no longer could handle the pain of watching the pet suffer, the doctor offered the option of keeping the pet at the hospital so that she could be monitored and different medications could be tried to see if she responded to treatment.  It meant so much to my wife and I that they would go to such lengths to try to return the quality of life to the pet.  We have really appreciated getting to know the staff of this hospital.  If you are looking for a place where they really love animals and will make you and your pet feel welcome, then I HIGHLY recommend coming here.(The pet hospital is located just North of Bridge Street in the shopping plaza east of SR 67.  The hospital is in the farthest north building space passed where the former Marsh Supermarket was located.)Review #83 Read Less

The groomer, Rachel, did a FANTASTIC job with my dog. The low rating is due to the Extremely rude girl that works at the front desk. I called to ask for directions and felt put off. BTW, don't trust Google's directions. Then my wife picked up our dog and independently mentioned what a B the receptionist was. Read Less

This is the BEST veterinarian I have ever had for my pets. He has been there for me in times of sorrow and joy and hope he is there for me and my pets for many many years to come. I hope there are others in this crazy world like him , and if you don't feel like this about you'r vet. you better get over to meet him. Read Less
