I have taken my dogs to the New Carlisle Animal Clinic for many years and have always found them to be knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to caring for our pets. Dr. Hans is always willing to work with us. He really wants to help and will do additional research for us when we have asked. Recently I asked him if he would be willing to join me in enrolling in the Morris Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study to help fight cancer in our breed. Dr. Hans willingly agreed, although I know it caused extra work for him and his staff, especially Amy :) Today my dog had his first annual exam and sample collection. I switched to this office when they were the only office willing to take my dog in for emergency surgery less than 12 hours from the time we called. My old vet said that "it wasn't worth it" but this office saved her life and it was definitely worth it. When I said she was afraid of kennels, they made accommodations to keep her out of one as much as possible. The entire staff goes beyond friendly well into compassionate. When I started to cry because I was unsure if I was making the right decisions when it came to the end of my dog's life, not only did the woman on the phone make me feel better, she continued to talk until I calmed down. 4 days ago when we had to put our girl down, we were treated with the best care and understanding. I drive a half hour further to be at this office. I don't know how they were lucky enough to have an entire staff that is so amazing, but I'm glad they do. I will never go anywhere else.Read Less
