We have had this vet for years, and he has always taken such great care of not just the animals but also the humans! Our animals love them, they are very professional but also can tell they really love their job and working with animals and helping. I love that he is always honest and never tries to sell things do not need. Recently we had to say goodbye to our cat, and they did so with utter respect and compassion. Took my 2 big, goofy dogs in for a meet and greet with Dr. Rege and to get them up to date on their vaccinations. One of the first things Dr. Rege did after walking into the exam room was squat in the corner against the wall and allow the dogs to come over and check him out before he checked them out. He gave each of them a couple of treats during the exam and explained all the vaccines that he would be administering and wanted to make sure there were no questions on my part. We have taken our two German Shepherd's here for almost two years. The staff is friendly and genuinely love our pups and they love going. They jump out of the truck and run right to them for love and attention. We have used their grooming services as well and they do just as great of a job on this as they do boarding. I can't thank Dr. Rege and his staff enough. Our dog had secretly swallowed a Nerf ball and caused a blockage. At first, she would puke anything she ate or drank. After the first day, she stopped eating or drinking anything. After X-rays, blood work and a week of no food or water, we prepared our boys that Puddin' probably wasn't coming home. Dr. Rege wanted to do surgery to visually see if he could find anything. He found the Nerf ball lodged in her and blocking everything. After surgery (done on a Sunday nonetheless), she spent a couple days at the office recovering. On day three after surgery, we have her home and she is doing great. Dr. Rege is the best. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies. When I call in, they recognize my dogs by name, and he has fielded after-and-before hours calls from me when I was scared. Best Veterinary EVER! Dr. Rege gives very thorough examinations.  He takes the time to play with our fur babies and really gets to know them.  I have never had a Vet take the time that he does to check every inch of our pets.  The best part is Dr.Rege really seems to enjoy it too. For a doctor to not only take the time for our pets but enjoy that time really means the world to us. He really is the only Vet that will get on the floor and play with puppies and kittens during an exam. Read Less

Anyone who has Dr. Rege as a vet. Knows how great he and his staff are but my husband and I felt it necessary to share our thoughts. A week ago we had to say goodbye to our 15 year old baby, Maddy our Dalmation. Dr. Rege and one of his staff (sorry I didn't get her name) came to our house and made the hardest decision we've ever made as easy as possible. They were calm and comforting , clearly trying to make it as easy for us as they could. Saying goodbye to our best friend was heartbreaking but allowing her to stay at home and go peacefully was such a gift. I can't thank them enough!!!!!! We have been going to Dr. Rege for almost 9 years. I always tell everyone looking for a vet to go to Allbreed, now I have another reason to chose Allbreed over anyone else. I love this clinic ....I'm from Evansville but worth the drive to have such a wonderful Vet and awesome staff I like the way his neutering was done he looks normal and not disfigured.
