Wish I could give them 6 stars! This clinic is the absolute best-- they always go above and beyond. I use them for vet services as well as grooming and boarding. I have a rabbit and a very over weight cat, which are always treated like royalty when taken here. Not every veterinary clinic accepts exotics and we are very fortunate to have Dr. Hoeffler in our area to take care of my rabbit. He has the most compassionate and knowledgable vets and staff. Years ago, Dr. Hoeffler saved the life of my sweet Bassett Hound, Molly after she was hit by a car. While she has since passed away and I have moved an hour away, I won't take my babies anywhere else. I have three dogs who are a handful and they LOVE going to the vet. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable with us humans. When it comes to the dogs, the staff go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable! My daughter took a nearly-dead bearded dragon into the office a few weeks ago, and even though we were the last patients of the day the doctor took extra time explaining how to be a better lizard owner, printed off care sheets and websites to get the best lamps and bulbs, and explained to her how to nurse him back to health. THANK YOU DR. HOFFLER!!! As of 7pm last night 1-31-2017: Destiny has been fed, given her meds, wound cleaned, out to potty, and is now resting well. Information from Dr Hoffler Her tumor was 9.3 pounds She almost died twice (once during surgery and once after) they had to remove the muscle around her ribs because the tumor was attached to it, she hemorrhaged for several hours and was touch and go. There wasn't enough skin to completely close the wound so we have to clean it twice a day and it should close on it's own in a few weeks. He hugged me. We repeatedly thanked him. He said something along the lines of "she's just one of those dogs that you know you have to save" There were many hours of exhaustion, concern, and fight and I can't thank Dr. Hoffler and his staff enough for that fight and taking such amazing care of our princess!Read Less

My dog hates going to the vet so I avoided it unless necessary. He is now a senior and has needed to be seen more often. I have been blown away by how well we are treated here. Having my dog get older is scary for me. The Dr. And staff always have answers, treatments and know how to calm my anxious mind. Parrett Vet Clinic is one of the best Vet Clinics I have ever been to. I have owned pets for about 6 years and have been with Parrett for the last 3 years. They used to be a good place to take your pet. Now they never answer their phones, don't return calls, and don't respond to emergency calls. My poor dog suffered due to their poor staffing. Luckily another vet was kind enough to help me even though my dog was not a patient. I will never bring another pet to them. Read Less

Always try to come up with a less expensive treatment and exhaust those avenues first. Play with dog to make comfortable and sooth them as they examine them. Compassionate vets that feel for your pet like they are their own. Staff is friendly and fantastic also. Love them all Read Less

It is the greatest place. Everyone is so nice and attentive. Without an appointment the wait can be long . I usually make appointments. It is hard to get through on the phone, usually have to leave a message and they call back. I don't like that idea incase it is something serious we might be calling about. Read Less

I took our dog there yesterday bc he was hit. He had no broken bones, or open wounds. He had air built up around his lungs from the trauma. They need had to pull the air out for him to breathe. When I went to pick him up they told me he needed to stay 24 hrs.. but nobody in Plymouth does that! My question is....why??? I asked how much ..1200 - 1800 ..not even having surgery..the other option was to leave him there alone for almost 400.. he may die alone..I guess there is a negative to having insurance for animals.. like humans, more die bc rates got threw the roof..if you don't have it.. your screwed..save don't kill!! He died in my lap 7 hrs later on our way to South bend to try and get him help. Read Less

I have been bringing my animals to this clinic for over 12 yrs. The last time I was there in December of 2015 we had to put my dog down due to cancer. So taking my cats there today was hard. Well we got in quickly to only be told I would need $575 to figure out what was wrong with them. Mind you I've always paid for any services up front. Due to financial difficulties that is impossible for me. Well needless to say they were not willing to work w me in anyway!!! What happen to helping people??? About two year ago I have found an abounded Siamese kitten that was very sick. Veterinarian that I went to for about 8 months didn€t help with respiratory infection or stomach problems that my cat had. My cat was unexpectedly sneezing leaving discharge on walls or even on my face if she was close. She would threw up at least once a month and have constantly diarrhea. At about 10 months of age she started scooting. For me as a clean and orderly person this was very difficult. I kept paying for stool samples and spending more money for the vet. I was desperate. My boyfriend recommended Dr Hoffler even though he was full hour away from where I live. His veterinarian services were less expensive that my previous veterinarian, but more important I finally got help for my cat. Dr Hoffler is so experienced and knowledgeable and will explain you in details what is going on with your pet. He discovered that my cat all along had parasites with the respiratory infection and somewhat excessive weight. In such a short time all health problems were gone and I am so grateful I was recommended to go to Parrot veterinarian services. In spite of gas price it€s worthy driving there! Read Less

Highly recommend.  The staff is caring, and understanding, the Dr. will get on the floor with your dog, and let the dog check him out...very easy to understand when medical issues arise.  They don't try and confuse you.  They have grooming and boarding,(i haven't used those) . Read Less
