I drive from Evansville to Princeton to take my pets to Princeton Animal Hospital . They have been treating them for over 9 years, when we pull up the pets are always excited to get out car, thats how at comfortable and at easy they make them feel. Very professional. Best to call ahead and schedule appointments. Wait time can be frustrating. But it is worth the wait because doctors are excellent. This place doesn't take appointments, only walk-ins, and I found it very inconvenient to wait there for so long. Also, I had to come in twice for my dog's basic ear infection. The first time they refused antibiotics so of course I came back after it was worse and got them. Also not a fan of requesting follow up "appointments" when it's not necessary. Read Less

It's a shame that I can't give this place Six stars!! Dr. Gail literally saved my cats life with a very complicated surgery very late at night. She and her staff are very friendly and helpful. I am surprised to see any negative reviews on this Vet. My parents have been taking their dogs here for years and love them. I had to take my dog in for heartworm treatment and that whole team was great. Not to mention you can't beat the price. Vets in Evansville are at least double the cost. Read Less

My family has come to Princeton Vet Hospital for a long time, I've personally brought 3 of my own pets here. Two of those pets I've had to have put to sleep. The Drs and Techs were extremely kind and sensitive to us both times. We wondered why we sat in the waiting room so long, it was because they wanted to get the other pets finished up so we could have all the time and privacy we needed. That meant so much. I was so pleased with the visit and treatment my cat received. Very reasonable pricing and tentative care. I didn't feel rushed once when we got to speak with the veterinarian. I will never again go to Princeton vet. Just last month I took my precious kitty there. She was just hardly 5 lbs. She was rapidly losing weight & we were concerned. We took Kally there. They did $170 worth of tests and told me she was perfectly fine, just a petite cat. And proceeds to give me $15 hair all control...? Okay, so right after we brought her home from the vet, she began to lose hair around her neck and on her head. She wasn't acting any different though. So just a week ago, she passed away silently in her favorite spot while sleeping. It turns out that little oh Kally had pancreatic cancer with also includes tumors. How does a vet miss that? Why was an ultrasound not done? It is unacceptable. That my 9 year old cat (which is hardly old for a cat) passed away and we couldn't help that because the vet skipped over that. The vet even told me "we did every test possible and they all came back negative". Well obviously not. I'm heartbroken. And they got $180 out of us. A real doctor doesn't skip over a cancer like that? A human gets all their tests done. But a cat couldn't? Outrageous. Read Less

Our visits before this situation went well. Today, our dog went in for a teeth cleaning. We waited all day to pick her up, thinking things went well with no calls from them. When we arrived, the secretary informed us they will send us home with antibiotics because they pulled 17 teeth! We were in shock. Our first question, why didn't anyone call us to approve or inform us of this??? Clearly, we were displeased and they pulled us aside to talk to a vet. He informed us once the plaque is removed, and the tooth is loose or roots are exposed it could cause infection and they removed the whole tooth. Okay, we understood that, but we still believe we deserved a phone call before they pulled 17 of her teeth. We then asked if she can still have her normal hard food. He said oh yes, she can. We then asked how many teeth she has left. He didn't know!!! It was not on paperwork. We were not informed the possibility of pulling any of her teeth before the procedure either. All in all, we will be finding a different vet.Read Less
