The main veterinarian is very nice and is great. The staff is super nice also. The cost is super high though. The staff also made am error and overdosed my dog. The day after the overdose she was disoriented and her hubs quarters wouldnt work. I had to bring her in thay next morning. They denied my dogs rapid decline was due to the overdose and apologized. I had to pay for that visit nonetheless. My dog went from incontinent to dead within a week. I'm unsure if I'll go back. Prior to this situation they had been wonderful. I understand that the literature states the medication should not of caused her rapid decline and death. However I would almost be certain that the research was not conducted on dogs her age with her pre-existing condition so therefore there is still reasonable doubt as to whether it did, did not or exacerbated her issues to cause her death. That being said it was a seed of doubt I should never of had to bear during the last week of her life. From a customer service stance I would recommend waiving the $50 office visit fee rather than the less than $10 nail trim fee. I did greatly appreciate the verbal ownership of the mistake from you the day i came in and the empathy you've shown in your post despite my 3 star review. Went there on June 13th I have a puppy they weighs 1.5 pounds that was having trouble breathing she had gotten choked on her food and when I went in the ladie at the front desk told me it was going to be a while I ask if she could just have someone to look at her and she strictly said NO I will never ever take another animal in there and will never recommend anyone. She was great with my dog but, not so much with my kids. She yelled at them like they were her own. This was the first time we had been there and my boys got turned around and tried to go out the way we came in instead of the exit and she acted like there were committing a crime. I won't be back. We just had our first visit and fell in love! The facility is clean, spacious, and convenient. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very good at their jobs. But I was most impressed with Dr. Courtney Smock! She was kind, informative, and made a great first impression! She walked in the exam room and immediately got down on the floor to greet her patients! No previous vet has ever greeted us with this type of warm welcome. Today was our first visit, we were recommended there by my sister who loves them, and they were wonderful. They were prompt, the place was very clean, the staff was super friendly and they treated Sammy wonderful. I switched to Care Pets after having a bad experience at another office in the area. The staff at Care Pets are friendly, very patient with my nervous/rambunctious dog, and very attentive. I can tell that they really love the animals they take care of and are always so sweet to my pup! Just left here with my dog. I called hysterical because my dog was hit and they were so nice. Took her in immediately. The vet and his assistants treated her like she was their own. I recently took my kitty here for the first time for a scare, which turned out to be nothing. The staff here was awesome, and my kitty has never been so calm during an exam with any other vet. Everyone was very professional, and seemed to really have a way with animals.
