I have been taking my dogs to Dr.Keeley for quite sometime now. I found he is very patient , kind, understanding and concerned. He made me feel so much better when my dogs were sick. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I went to Dr. Keeley because I thought he could help my poor 14yr old with a leg injury. Instead of helping her, he made her 100x WORSE!!! he did his little exam, and I knew right after he was done that she was worse off, by the next day this poor dog was walking like she had a broken leg!! I had to start her on major pain meds and laser tx, because he was in horrible shape! Seriously, should sue their asses off!! This horrid Dr should have his license revoked!!! I emailed the woman dr, co-owner, and she did not even so much as respond!! And on top of it all, he talked to me like I was an idiot and wanted me to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on surgery for my 14 yr old!! that was no even an option (mostly due to her age) He kept telling me that was the only solution if I wanted to give her a good quality of life!! I think when you have another veterinarian raving about how wonderful Dr. Keeley is, that says it all. My dog was having some serious breathing issues. Chest xrays showed either a possible mass near the heart or an enlarged lymph node. Being a vet myself I needed to know what was going on, because I look at my dog like my child. Since I work at a shelter we don't have some of the equipment Southlane does, for instance an ultrasound machine to take a further look at his heart to check for a mass. Dr. Keeley came in on his day off and meticulously performed further imaging for my dog, all while holding a conversation. I am not sure I have ever met someone so genuine. Dr Rachael Jones is an excellent vet who thinks out-of-the-box. She is compastionate and truly loves animals. She saved the life of my Scottish Deerhound after multiple other vet clinics failed to successfully diagnosis and treat his probablem.
