The staff is SUPER friendly- it's obvious that they are passionate about their job. Once you check in, you will not wait long to see the doctor, which is great. When we took in our new cat, the staff and doctor took the time to explain everything we needed to know to care for our cat- his diet, vaccines, cost, and overall health. When our dog had a minor medical scare, they were able to see him right away. The doctors quickly figured out what was wrong and sent us home with medicine and directions. A few days later he was back to normal.

I got home today to find that my 1 year old kitty was hot to the touch and did not seem to have any energy at all (very out of the norm for him). I called all 3 vets in Plymouth, 1 in Knox, and 2 in V...
I got home today to find that my 1 year old kitty was hot to the touch and did not seem to have any energy at all (very out of the norm for him). I called all 3 vets in Plymouth, 1 in Knox, and 2 in Valpo before I finally stumbled upon this place. They were literally the only ones who would take him last minute. He ended up having a 104.5 degree fever and was dehydrated because he did not have the energy to walk to his water bowl from the fever. They hooked him up to an IV and gave him fluids, and also gave him an antibiotic shot. Within an hour after getting home he is eating and drinking again! He also does not feel hot at all anymore. He is still tired but that is to be expected for the next day or so. I am so happy with the very friendly staff at this place and with the excellent care my kitty recieved. Not a lot of vets I’ve been to in this area seem to care much for cats but these guys treated my little man like a prince. Thank you all so much!

I switched my dog here after a bad experience at another vet. They were wonderful. My dog loves Dr. Booth and the staff is always so nice and helpful. They even send her a card for her birthday every year. They work with you on payments and really listen to you. My dog got sick in my car on a trip there and one of the girls watched her inside and another even came out to help me clean the mess in my car. The waiting room is always clean and appointments are always on time. Everyone in my family has changed to here because they treated me and my girl so well.

The staff and Dr. Bill are awesome! Last week I had an appointment for my two cats and upon arriving I mistakenly dropped the carrier and the snaps loosened. My two cats escaped in zero degree weather and in the winter darkness of the evening. Within seconds several staff, including the doctors, were helping me search for my boys. They were successfully found by the staff and were taken inside for safety and warmth. Dr. Bill and staff even stayed later to conduct the vet visit for my boys. I'm ever grateful for the care and love Vale Park staff have shown for my boys since we moved here in 2014!

Dr. Kim Juhlin is professional and extremely caring toward not only my dogs, but toward me. Dr. Sheller is a highly skilled surgeon and performed a laparoscopic spay on my female Wheaten. Much less invasive for my pup & not every Veterinarian has this ability, let alone expertise at the surgery. Natalie at the front desk is a joy and very professional. Love this place! I have been coming here for years and would highly recommend!

Vale Park is a comfortable, clean, friendly veterinary clinic. Dr. Brent and Dr Jerry are both thorough and kind. The office set up is perfect for my small dog. Being able to see my account on the screen in the examining room and discuss and pay the charges away from waiting room is so easy. I loved both Katie, the vet tech and the very welcoming office staff. It's location is so convenient and the parking is adequate. So glad we chose Vale Park!

I love this place. They cared for both of the dogs we had. Both are gone now. The care they show our mutts are beyond words to describe. The staff was excellent with our pets from the time they were pups until the time they were 14 and time to say goodbye. I cannot thank them enough. I haven't had a dog in over a year and a half, but plan on getting a pup at the end of this month when he is ready to leave the litter. That's how I happen to come across this and needed to share this and to tell everyone what a truly great and caring place this is.

When my vet at another clinic was out of town, and the animal hospital in Westville wanted to charge a fortune, Dr. Sheller at Vale Park Clinic stepped up and helped us out. Our dog, Enzo needed immediate surgery and she was willing to fit him into the packed schedule. She cared for him as if he were hers. Thank you, Dr. Sheller and staff! Enzo is doing great!

Dr. Jerry was excellent when my cat needed to have a tooth extraction, so they do have some good and competent staff, but Dr. Sheller advised me at one point to euthanize my 13 year old cat who was sick with an upper respiratory infection. She told me that 13 was a long life for a cat and maybe it was time to say goodbye.
I left in tears knowing in my heart that that was not the right decision, so I took matters into my own hands. With a short course of antibiotic treatment, my cat cleared up and went on to live another 2 years. Additionally, their services are overpriced, so if you're looking for the best service in the area to take your fur babies at the most economical prices, this isn't the place!

Dr. Jerry is an amazing vet and human being. We are so very thankful that he has taken care of both of our girls, Jazzy and Lia, and came to a solution for their issues. He is so kind and funny. You can tell he really loves what he does. There are a few vet techs that I absolutely love. One of them is Jaime and she has been such a joy to be around. She has been so very helpful to us. My favorite of all front staff is Stephanie. She has gone above and beyond for our family and our pups. She has a heart of gold. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Vale Park doctors and staff. They are always so accomodating as we live 1 1/2 hours away. They are truly amazing.

Dr. Bill and the staff have been nothing but AMAZING. The personal attention, the friendly atmosphere, the waiting room, are just a few of the many perks when you experience Vale Park. All we would have to do is say " Sid, lets go see Doc Bill" and she was at the door doing her wiggley dance because she truely enjoyed seeing the Doc.I moved from Porter County to Lake County 3 yrs ago. Searched for (interrogated is a better word) a local clinic and have yet to be WOWED. They are really nice but I feel like we're in a pit crew for a nascar race when we visit. I ended up doing the drive back to Dr. Bill because my dog was terrified of the new clinic. To my amazement, when we pulled into Vale Park's parking lot, my 70LB lab mix DRAGGED ME TO THE FRONT DOORS AND COULDN'T WAIT TO GO INSIDE AND SEE HER OLD FRIENDS.Any pet lover would know this is a major plus in their book.

I got home today to find that my 1 year old kitty was hot to the touch and did not seem to have any energy at all (very out of the norm for him). I called all 3 vets in Plymouth, 1 in Knox, and 2 in Valpo before I finally stumbled upon this place. They were literally the only ones who would take him last minute. He ended up having a 104.5 degree fever and was dehydrated because he did not have the energy to walk to his water bowl from the fever. They hooked him up to an IV and gave him fluids, and also gave him an antibiotic shot. Within an hour after getting home he is eating and drinking again! He also does not feel hot at all anymore. He is still tired but that is to be expected for the next day or so. I am so happy with the very friendly staff at this place and with the excellent care my kitty recieved. Not a lot of vets I’ve been to in this area seem to care much for cats but these guys treated my little man like a prince. Thank you all so much!

I switched my dog here after a bad experience at another vet. They were wonderful. My dog loves Dr. Booth and the staff is always so nice and helpful. They even send her a card for her birthday every year. They work with you on payments and really listen to you. My dog got sick in my car on a trip there and one of the girls watched her inside and another even came out to help me clean the mess in my car. The waiting room is always clean and appointments are always on time. Everyone in my family has changed to here because they treated me and my girl so well.

The staff and Dr. Bill are awesome! Last week I had an appointment for my two cats and upon arriving I mistakenly dropped the carrier and the snaps loosened. My two cats escaped in zero degree weather and in the winter darkness of the evening. Within seconds several staff, including the doctors, were helping me search for my boys. They were successfully found by the staff and were taken inside for safety and warmth. Dr. Bill and staff even stayed later to conduct the vet visit for my boys. I'm ever grateful for the care and love Vale Park staff have shown for my boys since we moved here in 2014!

Dr. Kim Juhlin is professional and extremely caring toward not only my dogs, but toward me. Dr. Sheller is a highly skilled surgeon and performed a laparoscopic spay on my female Wheaten. Much less invasive for my pup & not every Veterinarian has this ability, let alone expertise at the surgery. Natalie at the front desk is a joy and very professional. Love this place! Vale Park is a comfortable, clean, friendly veterinary clinic. Dr. Brent and Dr Jerry are both thorough and kind. The office set up is perfect for my small dog. Being able to see my account on the screen in the examining room and discuss and pay the charges away from waiting room is so easy. I loved both Katie, the vet tech and the very welcoming office staff. It's location is so convenient and the parking is adequate. So glad we chose Vale Park!

I love this place. They cared for both of the dogs we had. Both are gone now. The care they show our mutts are beyond words to describe. The staff was excellent with our pets from the time they were pups until the time they were 14 and time to say goodbye. I cannot thank them enough. I haven't had a dog in over a year and a half, but plan on getting a pup at the end of this month when he is ready to leave the litter. That's how I happen to come across this and needed to share this and to tell everyone what a truly great and caring place this is.

Dr. Jerry was excellent when my cat needed to have a tooth extraction, so they do have some good and competent staff, but Dr. Sheller advised me at one point to euthanize my 13 year old cat who was sick with an upper respiratory infection. She told me that 13 was a long life for a cat and maybe it was time to say goodbye.
I left in tears knowing in my heart that that was not the right decision, so I took matters into my own hands. With a short course of antibiotic treatment, my cat cleared up and went on to live another 2 years. Additionally, their services are overpriced, so if you're looking for the best service in the area to take your fur babies at the most economical prices, this isn't the place!

Dr. Jerry is an amazing vet and human being. We are so very thankful that he has taken care of both of our girls, Jazzy and Lia, and came to a solution for their issues. He is so kind and funny. You can tell he really loves what he does. There are a few vet techs that I absolutely love. One of them is Jaime and she has been such a joy to be around. She has been so very helpful to us. My favorite of all front staff is Stephanie. She has gone above and beyond for our family and our pups. She has a heart of gold. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Vale Park doctors and staff. They are always so accomodating as we live 1 1/2 hours away. They are truly amazing.

Dr. Bill and the staff have been nothing but AMAZING. The personal attention, the friendly atmosphere, the waiting room, are just a few of the many perks when you experience Vale Park. All we would have to do is say " Sid, lets go see Doc Bill" and she was at the door doing her wiggley dance because she truely enjoyed seeing the Doc.I moved from Porter County to Lake County 3 yrs ago. Searched for (interrogated is a better word) a local clinic and have yet to be WOWED. They are really nice but I feel like we're in a pit crew for a nascar race when we visit. I ended up doing the drive back to Dr. Bill because my dog was terrified of the new clinic. To my amazement, when we pulled into Vale Park's parking lot, my 70LB lab mix DRAGGED ME TO THE FRONT DOORS AND COULDN'T WAIT TO GO INSIDE AND SEE HER OLD FRIENDS.Any pet lover would know this is a major plus in their book.
