I absolutely love this vet! Doctor Jill is personable. And she actually treats the cause of the problem, not the symptoms. I have 5 pets that go there and I can honestly say, I have never found a bett...
I absolutely love this vet! Doctor Jill is personable. And she actually treats the cause of the problem, not the symptoms. I have 5 pets that go there and I can honestly say, I have never found a better vet.
The prices are not bad either.
All of the staff that works there is attentive and friendly.
Each and every time I have gone in last minute, I am an over the road trucker that takes my babies on the road with me, she has gotten me in.
I would not trade this vet for anything. I wish I had tried this place sooner for my babies.

Dr. Jill Butler is just wonderful! I drive 35 min past mutiple other vets just to see her. I can feel that she cares and that makes me and my pup both at ease. The office is clean and the staff is all very friendly as well.

I highly recommend taking your pets here! They have taken such good care of my kitty. Hands down, best vet in the area! And best vet I have been to in Indiana.

Our dog Mac is 15 yrs old and was very sick. I called our vet which said could not fit her in on that day. They said take her to PNC which we all know costs a lot. My girlfriend suggested Valpo hospit...
Our dog Mac is 15 yrs old and was very sick. I called our vet which said could not fit her in on that day. They said take her to PNC which we all know costs a lot. My girlfriend suggested Valpo hospital. They got on the floor with her and ended up she got fluids and antibiotics.. This is where we take Mac now.. A place that cares!

Dr.Z is here!!! So happy I found her. My pet loves her and I respect her knowledge and expertise. My pet is more relaxed here than she was in Lake Station Pet Clinic.

This is a FANTASTIC veterinary hospital! Dr. Butler and her team are some truly amazing people! My dog is nervous around people she doesn't know but they've always been very understanding and great at calming her down. They also offer a program called Free vaccines for life and it saves us LOADS of money each year on her mandatory vaccines, which allows us to vaccinate her for optional things such as lyme disease and to test her for heart worms each year. If you're looking to switch vets or for a vet for your new fur baby, this is definitely the place to go!

This clinic is so easy to work with. They are always friendly and accommodating.
You can tell by their demeanor that they love the animals. Dr. Butler always keeps the animals best interest as a top priority. The "vaccines for life program " is a great idea and keeps your pets protected every year. Buffy and I are so happy we found the wonderful clinic!

Have tried a couple other vets in town and the level of care was no where near what Dr Butler gives. I had a emergency with my puppy and was a bit of a mess crying with worry and she sat down with me ...
Have tried a couple other vets in town and the level of care was no where near what Dr Butler gives. I had a emergency with my puppy and was a bit of a mess crying with worry and she sat down with me and helped calm me down. I am so impressed with her, she actually cares about your pet and you're not treated like a generic customer- I have definitely found my vet for life.

I've been a client for 15+ years. Current co-owner, Dr Jill Butler bought the practice a few years ago. Simply put, her and her staff are awesome!! For everything from routine care to surgery I've been well pleased.Sadly I've had to put two dogs down within the last 2 years. Dr Jill's compassion could is extraordinarily sincere and cannot be exceeded. The staff is friendly and professional. The facility is well kept. I would recommend the Valpo Animal Hospital WITHOUT HESITATION.

Dr. Butler, co-owner of Valparaiso Animal Hospital, performed surgery on my beagle at the Calumet Emergency Clinic in Schererville, IN after he endured a vicious coyote attack. She put me and my dog at ease while still being realistic about what could go wrong. She was compassionate and skilled, getting him through three hours of surgery. Happy with her services, we visited Valparaiso Animal Hospital my beagle's follow-up. Her staff demonstrated the same friendliness and compassion, and my dog and I were comfortable during the entire visit. Dr. Butler's compassion and skill continued to be evident. My dog barely flinched during what looked like an uncomfortable procedure. I can't recommend Dr. Butler highly enough. My beagle is on his way to a full recovery, and I actually look forward to taking him to the vet. Dr. Butler genuinely seems to value my dog's well-being over money or time, and I already trust her to do what is best for my pets.

I absolutely love this vet! Doctor Jill is personable. And she actually treats the cause of the problem, not the symptoms. I have 5 pets that go there and I can honestly say, I have never found a better vet.
