This place used to be the best around, when they were still small and unknown. Everyone heard about their low prices and now their to busy seeing a thousand animals a day to give anyone decent service. Waited for half an hour past my appointment time on several occasions, then you wait in the examine room for another 20 minutes. Had to leave my dog there for the day once due to my work schedule, she came home covered in fleas. Took me weeks to get rid of them. Not worth saving a few bucks for me to turn around and spend more getting rid of whatever she picked up while she was there

Never saw the vet, and was given other medications that did not work. Constantly told to give it a chance! Called one last time, got angry with the same old BS,. Took cat to a vet that is much more reliable and competent and very confident that is woman vet will get our cat back to health! So much money wasted at this horse and hog place! Go to a good vet if you want to get your pet healthy.

if they had a rating lower than one star, i would use it. i have been a client with all of my animals for well over 25-30 years, ever since Dr. Weldys' was just a small, one building business that would come out to your house for any animal you had. As of today 4/21/2017 i have a cat that has an emergency. i called Dr. Weldys, assessed the situation with my cat and they said to get him into their office immediately, letting me know that for an emergency it will be $100 to just walk through the door. i can't get my cat into the kitty carrier, so they told me to put him in my car. when i did, he spazzed out, jumping into the windows bashing his head for 5 minutes straight until he had a bald spot on his head. they persisted on telling me to put him in a pillowcase... didn't work. so they said to put him into a box, TAPE IT SHUT and punch holes in it. I asked them if they would just send out a doctor like they used to and 'put him down'. the sickness he has is not curable. they told me that they no longer come out to houses unless you have a large animal. they are the ones that told me we have an emgency, yet in the same breath, stated that there is nothing they can do to help me because it's just a small cat and they are a bigger business now. Wow. needless to say Dr. Weldy's is NOT what it used to be!!!! After all of this time, i will never go back to this vet and i willl advise everyone i know what a bad business they have become. it's a shame. my cat will suffer till he dies because of Dr. Weldy's "new" policies. i hope they all rot in hell. if old man Weldy was alive, he would be so disappointed with what the business has become. He was an 'old school' guy that took care of his clients animals however need be. the staff now... very cold hearted and only concerned about the all mighty dollar.

Caution: We have used Dr. Weldy since we moved into the area several years ago. They have always been good, if you have an appointment scheduled (booked out pretty far), but in the case of an emergency, we have NEVER been able to get immediate care. Today we called about a serious issue with our toy pom, was told they could see him in 5 days. That is unacceptable.

They are the best not only in prices, but they really do care. When I take my herd in, they let me make 1 appointment for all of them to go in at the same time. I've never had to wait in the lobby for...
They are the best not only in prices, but they really do care. When I take my herd in, they let me make 1 appointment for all of them to go in at the same time. I've never had to wait in the lobby for more than 15 minutes, & they will help me load everyone back into the truck after were done. They even give treats to my little one who cries when she gets a shot.

Very disappointed with current situation with our cat. Called desperately for vet help, was charged 125.00 for emergency call during regular hours. Never saw the vet, and was given other medications that did not work. Constantly told to give it a chance! Called one last time, got angry with the same old BS,. Took cat to a vet that is much more reliable and competent and very confident that is woman vet will get our cat back to health! So much money wasted at this horse and hog place! Go to a good vet if you want to get your pet healthy.

if they had a rating lower than one star, i would use it. i have been a client with all of my animals for well over 25-30 years, ever since Dr. Weldys' was just a small, one building business that would come out to your house for any animal you had.
