I honestly cannot even begin to express how wonderful these ladies are. They have taken the very best care of my babies from their very first vet appointment, on!!
First of all, it doesn’t matter the situation. If there’s an animal struggling, or a pet owner who is scared and doesn’t know what to do, YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON THEM! I have had a couple of situations with my pets, these ladies have NEVER LET ME DOWN! And I have no doubt that I have tested their patience a time or two, because honestly I’m a bit of a worrier. They always calm my worries, and they get my animals in right away.
Second, they are extremely affordable and fair with their pricing. They have ALWAYS given me the very best price for top notch care, pet supplies, and medicine. I have often been relieved and pleasantly surprised by my bill.
And third, they are always pleasant, and always honest. Even if it’s something you don’t necessarily want to hear. Like the fact that I feed my girls a few too many snacks 😉
I can’t imagine taking my babies anywhere else. Thank you so much to the ladies at Story County Vet Clinic, I truly appreciate you for all that you do!

Best Vet with so much knowledge. Cares about you and your pets. We had to have after hours emergency care. Our working Manx had a harness that grew into his skin. He’s purrfect now! Dr. Kim Houlding was there for us. Was reasonably priced also for Emergency Care. 5 Stars hands down!

Absolutely love this vet. Very reasonable prices, works hard to make sure my pets are comfortable. Asked about how my cats were when I made an appointment for my new dog to make sure they weren't stressed. I truly appreciate them going the extra mile for care. They really work hard to get me in immediately for all of my fur babies. Only vet my pets aren't afraid of. They must be doing something right.

we took our 2 yr old 150lb pet potbelly pig into this vet. found the care to be superior!!. our boy was sore and grumpy after and to be expected. the receptionist was a sweetheart and explained what we needed to do per Dr's orders and even followed up the next day. theses ladies are great people! give amazing care and know what they are doing.

Dr. Holding is a very experienced country vet of over 30 years. She has clipped my MaCaw's nails, stopped bowling to treat our Manx at 10pm at night and taken great care of all 3 of our cats. She is very thorough with your pets. I grew up on the farm and prefer an expierenced Farm Vet to a Boutique Vet. Her prices are amazingly affordable. Even her after hours charges on our Manx Peniel were reasonable. She loves what she does and it shows. She explains everything in lay mans terms. I have encouraged many friends and family to go to her. I don't care if there is hair on the seats in the clinic. I grew up with the Vet coming right to the farm and doing procedures in our barn. I trust her knowledge and experience and her Technician is very good with our pets. Glad to have her so close to us! Rebecca Miller and Larry Moore

I have been so happy with the care our pets have received here. We had a dog run through a wire fence on Thanksgiving and they came right in to saw him up. When we were new to the kitten world they were amazing and walked us through what we needed to do, how she would act her first few weeks alone, and through out the last year answered all my questions about a cat in the house.

We have been taking our cats there for years. Usually Dr. Kim is who we like to see We have seen the male Vet who works there too, we have always had excellent service. Dr. Kim is a good old country vet. She tells us what may be going on with our pets and does thorough exams and tests. So if you have complaints you should tell them. They are good people and they want to hear you if you think they could improve. Dr. Kim got up at 2am to care for our Manx who had an embedded harness in his skin. We would never take our pets anywhere else. Their prices are reasonable also. They are real experienced Country Vets. Not Boutique Vets. I work for USDA I know about Vets. I was a Vet Tech myself before going to the USDA Centers for Animal Services. Rebecca Miller

I honestly cannot even begin to express how wonderful these ladies are. They have taken the very best care of my babies from their very first vet appointment, on!!
First of all, it doesn’t matter the situation. If there’s an animal struggling, or a pet owner who is scared and doesn’t know what to do, YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON THEM! I have had a couple of situations with my pets, these ladies have NEVER LET ME DOWN! And I have no doubt that I have tested their patience a time or two, because honestly I’m a bit of a worrier. They always calm my worries, and they get my animals in right away.
Second, they are extremely affordable and fair with their pricing. They have ALWAYS given me the very best price for top notch care, pet supplies, and medicine. I have often been relieved and pleasantly surprised by my bill.
And third, they are always pleasant, and always honest. Even if it’s something you don’t necessarily want to hear. Like the fact that I feed my girls a few too many snacks 😉

Best Vet with so much knowledge. Cares about you and your pets. We had to have after hours emergency care. Our working Manx had a harness that grew into his skin. He’s purrfect now! Dr. Kim Houlding was there for us. Was reasonably priced also for Emergency Care. 5 Stars hands down!

Absolutely love this vet. Very reasonable prices, works hard to make sure my pets are comfortable. Asked about how my cats were when I made an appointment for my new dog to make sure they weren't stressed. I truly appreciate them going the extra mile for care. They really work hard to get me in immediately for all of my fur babies. Only vet my pets aren't afraid of. They must be doing something right.

She is very thorough with your pets. I grew up on the farm and prefer an expierenced Farm Vet to a Boutique Vet. Her prices are amazingly affordable. Even her after hours charges on our Manx Peniel were reasonable. She loves what she does and it shows. She explains everything in lay mans terms. I have been so happy with the care our pets have received here. We had a dog run through a wire fence on Thanksgiving and they came right in to saw him up. When we were new to the kitten world they were amazing and walked us through what we needed to do, how she would act her first few weeks alone, and through out the last year answered all my questions about a cat in the house.
