On December 1, 2016, we made the very difficult decision to end the suffering of our 13 year old German Shepherd, Caesar. The last thing we needed was a struggle to find someone who would help us, as he was in too much pain to be transported anywhere. After contacting several CR vets, including the one we'd always used, and being told that a house call wasn't possible, I called AVC. The girl I spoke to on the phone (I wish I'd gotten her name) was very empathetic, and, even though it wasn't her job to do so, set us up for a home visit that same day. Dr. Brian (I hope that's right) arrived and I knew right away that he was a good person and that Caesar's last moments would be spent with people who truly cared.Read Less
