My doggy spend so many weeks here, she had no problems. Cost is on the higher side, but the staff is friendly and homely.

Had my puppy spayed at Eberle and she developed a rather large swelling at the area of incision. Asked the vet about it at her checkup and she was not concerned about it and said it was just a reaction and should go away. Many months later, the swelling had gone down but left large bumps that resembled blisters on the same area. Took my puppy back and the same vet said they were just fat stores and are nothing to worry about. I had asked many dog owners and they all claim that it did not look normal. I do not claim to be a dog expert, but this was definitely NOT normal looking. Also, Australian shepherds are great jumpers and my do did not jump very much at all. I opted to have this "reaction" surgically removed. Turns out it was a stitch from the spaying operation that did not dissolve properly and was stuck in my dog, causing the odd blister-like bumps. When my husband picked her up, the vet did not even come out and counsel him on post op care, etc. They did end up discounting this particular operation, rightfully so.Now I too am a medical professional and I understand that things happen. However, I DO NOT understand when the medical professional will not admit when something is not right and will not even apologize for the inconvenience! Needless to say, I do not recommend this place for your pets. On the bright side, my dog's jumping has improved immensely since she has the operation:-) Read Less

I made an appointment as my 10 month old puppy and I are new in town.   i told the woman over the phone i needed a refill on my pups Comfortis and Interceptor (Flea and heartworm pills). When I got there, I started filling out paperwork, and asked the woman behind the desk how much they charged for both of these meds. She said that they don't sell those. So I said, then I'll get a prescription and get them elsewhere. She said that the vet "won't write a prescription" and the only choice I had was what they sold. I was pretty blown away.  She said what they sold was "really good" and what I had been using was "pretty new" and they didn't know much about it.  She was very un-educated and quite blatantly trying to sell me on the product that they sold.  I will never go back, and am wondering if the Doctor knows that he has staff turning customers away.**Update: I was able to find a vet (the very next one I called) that would not only give me both the meds I wanted, would write a prescription if I could find them cheaper elsewhere. The woman at Eberle also tried to tell me that my pup would need a heartworm test that day (Another $47)...when he had just had one in January.  My new vet said he wouldn't need one until NEXT SPRING.  Talk about someone not giving a crap about your animal and just wanting money.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
