Dr. Less is amazing! Our Great Dane/Saint Bernard is on his second TPLO for his other leg (he had his first one done last year) and it went very smooth. The healing process was great, and the staff was very helpful when I kept getting worried because of how it was looking. It was healing properly, but since it looked so gross I was worried something was wrong. The front desk staff were always willing to get me in quickly just to make sure everything was fine, and they also allowed me to email them a picture instead of having to bring him in. Is it more expensive? Yes. But for the surgical expertise and the well-being of my giant boy, I am willing to pay to get him the best. The accept Care Credit which is a life saver. I will say, there is one front desk person that I try to avoid when they work because they seem very condescending and rude, but everyone else there is great. Also, I rarely wait more than 5 mins to be seen when I first arrive. They are referral, so they aren't my usual vet, BUT when I need a specialty- they are amazing!

I am a veterinarian who has referred many many cases to KC, as well as having used them for services for my own pet.
As a referring vet, I am grateful to have a referral hospital that offers such high-quality medicine right here in the QCA. When I call to refer a sick pet, they make every effort to see that pet quickly, often moving their already busy schedule around. Additionally, their communication with case updates is excellent. I also sincerely appreciate that they make every attempt to return care to the primary vet. I see reviews expressing frustration with this policy, but they are a REFERRAL center for a reason. Please respect their policy and don't give them 1-star ratings without good reason.

Bad Bad.....I called to reorder flea and trick crewable medication ordered in the past for my dog by this vet. Picked up, got home, opened package and it was the wrong medication. I returned the next day to return the medication, and was told because the outer package was opened they could not accept return, the container inside package was not opened. So I payed for the correct medication, and was forced to eat the cost of the wrong medication. So if you get some medication with the outer package opened, know you just gave those guys another 25.36. SHAME on these greedy folks......I will take my dog business elsewhere.....and I suggest you do the same. I clearly stated to them that I would take my bussiness elsewhere, and they could have cared less. If they are going to argue with a customer over 25.36, just think about how much they care about your pet. Your a dollar sign walking in the door.

If it had been a month ago, I would have rated this practice much higher. As of today, I am terribly disappointed. We have had our cat under the care of Kimberly Crest for 6 years. Two months ago, we rescued a dog and began care here, as well. Our doctor is phenomenal, but the staff with whom we must work is condescending and uncaring. I called with concern about a swollen and red paw and was treated as though I was foolish for calling and that we'd be lucky to get an appointment in the next two days. I shared that I would probably need to call another vet as I feared that our dog may have an infection and she cavalierly responded with 'go ahead.' I called another vet, one that does not treat our dog or cat, and got in within the hour. Thank God I did. Our dog had an infection. It would have been unconscionable had we waited two or three days for treatment. The cost is high at Kimberly Crest, but I thought it worth it for my cat and dog. Sadly, we must part ways with this practice and a wonderful vet.

My cat had some traumatic vet experiences in Davenport. Two vets refused to see him without sedating him because of his anxiety and aggression he gets at the vet every time they sedated him I cried. Jessie the vet tech at Kimberly Crest told me to bring him in and they would not sedate him. Dr Bahns is INCREDIBLE with him even when he is growling and hissing she treats him with so much care. She said from the first visit she wanted to build a relationship with him. She is the cat whisperer! She goes above and beyond to make sure hes in the best health. Dr. Taylor performed an ultrasound on him today and he was also wonderful. Are you going to pay a little more for procedures here? Yes but trust me when I say you get what you pay for! I dont cry anymore when I go to the vet! :) I highly recommend this vet! Between my three cats I have been to about every vet in Davenport and nothing compares to the care you get here!

The facilities & staff are fantastic and we've never had a problem with any appointments, billing, etc. Any time we've had a question they've been more than happy to answer, or get us in that day to check things out.
Her spaying went great with a minor infection that was addressed right away (pup' s fault, not the vet/staff). Her heal time was great and can barely even tell she had a surgery now.
If looking for a great place to take your fur baby, look no further!

Great Staff and Drs., my pets have been there from puppy/kitten services to end of life. They are very caring and offer options for your pet. I always recommend them to people new to the area. They are expensive, but your pet will be well cared for. I have a pet on a medication that I was able to find for $20 cheaper online, so saving $240 a year gives me more to spend on my pets care.

My 14 year old cat had a mammary tumor that could not be removed by another vet due to low platelet count. Thankfully, Dr. Less and his staff were more than willing to remove the growth. My cat is currently healthy and happy, and I can't say enough great things about Kimberly Crest Veterinary Hospital and their welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Finding out my cat had a growth was very stressful for as I have had her my entire adult life. The employees and technicians at Kimberly Crest assisted in putting my mind at ease, and I am so thankful that I was able to find a surgeon like Dr. Less. A+ service all around. Thanks KCVH!

My 14 year old cat had a mammary tumor that could not be removed by another vet due to low platelet count. Thankfully, Dr. Less and his staff were more than willing to remove the growth. Great place to go. No fluff or BS. Direct and to the point. I liked that about this place. Dr Taylor was wonderful with our Casey. We didn't like the news, but we were able to do everything that we could thanks to the results we received. Had to put our Casey down a couple hours after we left. But everything happened just as Dr Taylor said it would. Wish we would have come here sooner. Not saying the outcome would have been any different, but sure appreciated their honesty about things.

Went to have my cat spay and found that it was going to cost minimum of $550 with a military discount. I left the cat at 7:30 AM, but after some research I discovered the animal shelter will complete the procedure for $45. I call Kimberly crest at 8:15 AM and asked if any procedure had been initiated and they said no, I then asked them to NOT do anything and we will pick up the cat. My wife picked up the cat within 1 hour of my telephone conversation and we were charged $75 for blood work.

We had been going to our regular vet for the last 7 years, and on Christmas Eve our husky became very ill very quickly. After seeing our vet twice I then came to Kimberly Crest for a 2nd option. The staff is wonderful, very kind and professional. They did great work and in a short amount of time. Sadly they found cancer and a few short weeks is all we had left. The staff showed such empathy and took great care of us getting is ready for our final goodbyes. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs quality care.

Quality service, but expensive. After having to find a vet quickly for my cat due to a urinary tract issue, I came to Kimberly Crest. Dr. Houghton has been very thorough and and open in terms of communication while treating my 7yo feline. The techs who work here are also very kind and do a great job at answering questions when the vet is not available. Administrators at the front desk have also been helpful when it comes to scheduling, billing, or questions in general. Unfortunately, we have had to spend quite a bit of time at the vet over the last few months, but the care and attention to detail is worth it.

I took my luck in to see Dr. Bahns for a annual exam and shots. I've been turned away from some places due to my cat having anxiety issues and likes to growl alot. The doctor spent easily over 30 minutes just getting her comfortable for an exam. She was even able to examine her and give her her shots and come up with a plan of action to help calm her. I refuse to go anywhere else now.

The staff and business manager are the worst. They had absolutely no concern for the way they treated my 12 year-old lab. All this place cares about is money. If you want to be treated like dirt, if you want to over-pay for services rendered.....this is the place to go. The staff was and always is amazing at answering my questions. They are pricey is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Dr Less did a liver shunt surgery on my hairless chinese crested last June and the staff was very understanding and patient with me calling with all kinds of questions and even let me bring my dog back in the next day just to reassure me that everything i was freaking out about was normal post surgery. We never had to wait in the waiting area for more then 5 minutes either.

I give them two stars for their service. They were helpful knowledgeable and I especially believed the care that I received there in the short time that I was going there was very good. However, I tried to continue my care there with my kidney dog and they refused me service and would not take my dog any longer because I signed a waiver of some sort. Even though I no longer see the veterinarian that I signed the waiver for or even live in the same city....I can never go back with this dog. Regardless of the situation. I am now traveling to Cedar Rapids and Iowa city for care. I find this a true indicator of how much they care about animals. If they are willing to give up a patient that needs them and their knowledge terribly for the sake of a paper. Just beware of what you sign. I wasn't because we were in a timely emergency.

Priced like they cater to Beverly Hills clientele. Atrociously overpriced and charge for ever little thing. Treated with arrogance and concerns were dismissed because "I'm not the one who went to college for this. " They're full of themselves and their attitudes and prices reflect that. Glad I was able to find a nice vet who listens to my concerns and is actually concerned about my pet - her health, comfort and pain. She wasn't just a procedure that needed to be performed by the "experts." I will NEVER take any of my pets to this clinic again, disgusted with everything about it.

Very unprofessional approach to customers. Performed work that was not requested on animals. Took our cat in with symptoms of an infection and they vet started looking for obscure illnesses. A lot of money later, took the cat to a different vet after being verbally confronted by the Kimberly Crest and turned out to be an infection in the cat's leg that was a simple fix.DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The vets here are money hungry and do not care about your animals.

I called another vet, one that does not treat our dog or cat, and got in within the hour. Thank God I did. Our dog had an infection. It would have been unconscionable had we waited two or three days for treatment. The cost is high at Kimberly Crest, but I thought it worth it for my cat and dog. Sadly, we must part ways with this practice and a wonderful vet.

My cat had some traumatic vet experiences in Davenport. Two vets refused to see him without sedating him because of his anxiety and aggression he gets at the vet every time they sedated him I cried. Jessie the vet tech at Kimberly Crest told me to bring him in and they would not sedate him. Dr Bahns is INCREDIBLE with him even when he is growling and hissing she treats him with so much care. She said from the first visit she wanted to build a relationship with him. She is the cat whisperer! She goes above and beyond to make sure hes in the best health. Dr. Taylor performed an ultrasound on him today and he was also wonderful. Are you going to pay a little more for procedures here? Yes but trust me when I say you get what you pay for! I dont cry anymore when I go to the vet! :) I highly recommend this vet! Between my three cats I have been to about every vet in Davenport and nothing compares to the care you get here!

The facilities & staff are fantastic and we've never had a problem with any appointments, billing, etc. Any time we've had a question they've been more than happy to answer, or get us in that day to check things out.
Her spaying went great with a minor infection that was addressed right away (pup' s fault, not the vet/staff). Her heal time was great and can barely even tell she had a surgery now.
If looking for a great place to take your fur baby, look no further!

Great Staff and Drs., my pets have been there from puppy/kitten services to end of life. They are very caring and offer options for your pet. I always recommend them to people new to the area. They are expensive, but your pet will be well cared for. I have a pet on a medication that I was able to find for $20 cheaper online, so saving $240 a year gives me more to spend on my pets care.

My 14 year old cat had a mammary tumor that could not be removed by another vet due to low platelet count. Thankfully, Dr. Less and his staff were more than willing to remove the growth. My cat is currently healthy and happy, and I can't say enough great things about Kimberly Crest Veterinary Hospital and their welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Finding out my cat had a growth was very stressful for as I have had her my entire adult life. Great place to go. No fluff or BS. Direct and to the point. I liked that about this place. Dr Taylor was wonderful with our Casey. We didn't like the news, but we were able to do everything that we could thanks to the results we received. Had to put our Casey down a couple hours after we left. But everything happened just as Dr Taylor said it would. Wish we would have come here sooner. Not saying the outcome would have been any different, but sure appreciated their honesty about things.

Went to have my cat spay and found that it was going to cost minimum of $550 with a military discount. I left the cat at 7:30 AM, but after some research I discovered the animal shelter will complete the procedure for $45. I call Kimberly crest at 8:15 AM and asked if any procedure had been initiated and they said no, I then asked them to NOT do anything and we will pick up the cat. My wife picked up the cat within 1 hour of my telephone conversation and we were charged $75 for blood work.

We had been going to our regular vet for the last 7 years, and on Christmas Eve our husky became very ill very quickly. After seeing our vet twice I then came to Kimberly Crest for a 2nd option. The staff is wonderful, very kind and professional. They did great work and in a short amount of time. Sadly they found cancer and a few short weeks is all we had left. The staff showed such empathy and took great care of us getting is ready for our final goodbyes. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs quality care.

Quality service, but expensive. After having to find a vet quickly for my cat due to a urinary tract issue, I came to Kimberly Crest. Dr. Houghton has been very thorough and and open in terms of communication while treating my 7yo feline. The techs who work here are also very kind and do a great job at answering questions when the vet is not available. Administrators at the front desk have also been helpful when it comes to scheduling, billing, or questions in general. Unfortunately, we have had to spend quite a bit of time at the vet over the last few months, but the care and attention to detail is worth it.

I took my luck in to see Dr. Bahns for a annual exam and shots. I've been turned away from some places due to my cat having anxiety issues and likes to growl alot. The doctor spent easily over 30 minutes just getting her comfortable for an exam. She was even able to examine her and give her her shots and come up with a plan of action to help calm her. I refuse to go anywhere else now.

The staff and business manager are the worst. They had absolutely no concern for the way they treated my 12 year-old lab. All this place cares about is money. If you want to be treated like dirt, if you want to over-pay for services rendered.....this is the place to go. If you want your pet to be treated with care and respect.....avoid this place at all costs

The staff was and always is amazing at answering my questions. They are pricey is the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Dr Less did a liver shunt surgery on my hairless chinese crested last June and the staff was very understanding and patient with me calling with all kinds of questions and even let me bring my dog back in the next day just to reassure me that everything i was freaking out about was normal post surgery. We never had to wait in the waiting area for more then 5 minutes either.

I give them two stars for their service. They were helpful knowledgeable and I especially believed the care that I received there in the short time that I was going there was very good. However, I tried to continue my care there with my kidney dog and they refused me service and would not take my dog any longer because I signed a waiver of some sort. Even though I no longer see the veterinarian that I signed the waiver for or even live in the same city....I can never go back with this dog. Regardless of the situation. I am now traveling to Cedar Rapids and Iowa city for care. I find this a true indicator of how much they care about animals. If they are willing to give up a patient that needs them and their knowledge terribly for the sake of a paper. Just beware of what you sign. I wasn't because we were in a timely emergency.

Priced like they cater to Beverly Hills clientele. Atrociously overpriced and charge for ever little thing. Treated with arrogance and concerns were dismissed because "I'm not the one who went to college for this. " They're full of themselves and their attitudes and prices reflect that. Glad I was able to find a nice vet who listens to my concerns and is actually concerned about my pet - her health, comfort and pain. She wasn't just a procedure that needed to be performed by the "experts." I will NEVER take any of my pets to this clinic again, disgusted with everything about it.

Very unprofessional approach to customers. Performed work that was not requested on animals. Took our cat in with symptoms of an infection and they vet started looking for obscure illnesses. A lot of money later, took the cat to a different vet after being verbally confronted by the Kimberly Crest and turned out to be an infection in the cat's leg that was a simple fix.DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The vets here are money hungry and do not care about your animals.
