This fall I loaded up two scared crying young girls & one kitten who was bleeding from his eye and nose. It was evening when I called Avondale while driving to their facility and they were ready and waiting for us when we arrived. My daughter's 4 month old kitten, Tiger, received great care from Dr. Williamson and Staff. They set our minds at ease, letting us know it was a minor injury and my Girls even go to listen to Tiger's heartbeat! Little did I know that we would be bringing my Fur-Boy, Beau, a 10 yr. old Lab to Avondale for surgery right after Thanksgiving. When I called to make the appointment I felt a little less anxious knowing Dr. Williamson would be his surgeon and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he could get the procedure done. My Beau had three large fatty tumors (thankfully non-cancerous) removed and I could not be happier with the care both Beau and I received! Dr. Williamson & her staff are FANTASTIC and I would highly recommend them! They take their time to listen to your concerns while providing top notch care to our 4-legged loved ones. They are thorough, trustworthy, skilled, knowledgeable, personable and caring! I am not easy to please (especially when it comes to my Beau) and they have repeatedly went above and beyond! I love Avondale! All the staff is kind and knowledgeable. They are happy to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns. I appreciate that they're open 7 days a week and they can always squeeze me in day of if an emergency arises. No need to wait days to get my cats looked at. I really enjoy they have a cat hospital separate from the main vet, so my cats don't feel extra stresses by dogs. One of the exam room even has a fish tank that my youngest cat adores. Had an amazing experience. Brought my dog in who had been hit by a car and missing for 4days and Also had a dislocated elbow. The staff was amazingly nice and you could tell they really cared. I got to see xrays and got to say good bye to my baby after anesthesia set in to put her elbow back in. Doctor Woodruff was very reassuring she would be okay. Had a $5000 stem cell treatment for my dog with a neurological disorder based on their recommendation. Come to find out stem cells are nowhere near ready for medical use. According to Stanford university we are 15-20 years away from seeing any benefits and proper procedures for stem cells. These people at Avondale care nothing about animals all they care about is money. They never even followed up after the procedure and when I tried to call to speak to them they would not even return phone calls. Read Less

Avondale and staff are wonderful. We had our 9yr old cocker to many ets to diagnos unexplained itching. We had looked on line, and she seemed to show all the symptoms of paw mites. No other vet (Anderson Animal Hospital) would test and gave unecessary allergy shots. The wonderful vet Dr Carlos took no time at all to diagnos our poor Lil with mites, and started meds immediately. By this time we had it and also had to be treated as well. They are very concerned and caring, and answer any and all questions, and grasp we know our Lil better than anyone. I cant thank Dr Carlos and staff adequately, they are superb. They are a wonderful facility, not to mention compassionate to pet and owner. WE LOVE AVONDALE, DR CARLOS AND STAFF! Read Less
