After Dr Joe Seng passed away we needed new vet Joes first recommendation was horrible in Rock Island and first vet bill was over $1000 and turned us in right away to collections because all we had at that moment was $700 so he took the $700 from us and sent to collections a $1050 bill without us even knowing the next week we dropped off the $350 and figured that was end of it til we got a letter from collections and so when we called the vet about issue they hung up on us. So my wife stopped by and showed them what happened they said not our problem so they scammed us for $2100. Fast forward 2 months and found Risius vet service and boy night and day difference and they treated us and our dog like we should be and great prices and very very helpful. Read Less

Absolutely love this clinic!!they are so compassionate about their job!I have a very stubborn kitty named Baby that had to get a lump removed.hes been very difficult and has taken his cone off a couple times already and had to have the incision fixed up a bit due to his scratching.So we have found ourselves back in this office more times then should have had to.all the staff is so welcoming and patient with our furry family member.will recommend to anyone!thank u for taking such good care of our hard headed kitty! I want to thank Dr. Kim Lehman for making two "farm calls" to provide gentle care and attention to one of our sheep. It had been attacked (likely by either a coyote or the neighbor's pit bull) and was gravely wounded. My little Shih Tzu Sparkle was extremely ill. She had been sick for a few days and another vet said she had colitis that was supposed to be very treatable. She took a turn for the worse Thursday morning and I rushed into this clinic in a panic. They rushed me into a room where she passed away. It was extremely traumatic for me to say the least. The care and compassion of the staff was out of this world! They cried with me and hugged me after she passed away. They even sent me a wonderful card where everyone wrote a little note along with the poem Rainbow Bridge. I have been back with my other Shih Tzu Bruno with concerns and they saw me right away. The love they have for my dogs is simply amazing! I will never take my babies to any other vet other than Risius! Read Less

The staff at Risius is wonderful. They truly care about my dogs and have provided excellent care for my three dogs. When I lost my beloved Golden Retriever Jack this May, they sent a card to us and every employee wrote a nice note about Jack. This meant the world to us, as he was a treasured family member. We've use Risius Vet Service for over 10 years. They take excellent care of our dogs, answering all of our questions and concerns. My sister has brought her two dogs here for a few years, as well as my brother with his dog, so it only made sense that I bring my puppy here when I bought her in 10/12. The staff has always been friendly both over the phone and in person. I love that after both her spay and teeth pulling the staff called me to check how everything was going. The fact that they care enough to call me, has made it a lot easier for me to pick up the phone with any concerns I have regarding my puppy.
