Indianola, Iowa
General Info
All Creatures Small Animal Hospital is a well-respected practice known for its attentive and personalized service to the community. All Creatures Small Animal Hospital (Indianola) recognizes that every household pet has its own care rhythm and offers fully customized veterinary plans (Iowa) to fit your real life. Initial consultations entail a thorough review of all aspects of the pet’s history, behavior, and any recent changes in its household role. Exams are individualized, assessing posture, ear and eye clarity, skin health and hydration, gait and temperament around both humans and other animals. Veterinarians look at the shared symptoms like mild coughing and low appetite across affected animals as a cluster. This is because the common pet environments make it difficult to pinpoint what went wrong. All Creatures Small Animal Hospital provides personalized wellness planning, diagnostics, and surgical consultations in addition to weight monitoring, dental examinations, and preventive care. Care plans adapt to the owner’s schedule and pet characteristics by either spreading out visits or bundling procedures to conserve energy and time. Households that have to manage new adoptions, age-related slowdowns and travel schedules find that the routines become sustainable through the following methods. The clinic staff explains the options to the families in a way that makes decision-making easy and straightforward. Owners have the opportunity to ask questions during all steps because constant communication is incorporated into each appointment and follow-up. All Creatures Small Animal Hospital helps families in Indianola and surrounding Iowa communities maintain a veterinary routine in their homes at a rhythm that ensures their pets have voices and visits matter. The practice provides various services such as laser therapy, preventive medicine, orthopedic surgery, dental care, and cold laser therapy. These services help animals live long and healthy lives by supporting them from routine wellness visits to complex medical cases. Pet owners praise the professionals for their clear, compassionate, and supportive communication especially when explaining medical decisions. The team strives to build long-term connections and establish trust through consistency which enables them to serve clients better. The clinic also grounds a major role in educating the pet owners. All Creatures Small Animal Hospital’s active participation in the local community fosters a robust connection with pet proprietors. Both the new clients and the ones who frequent this establishment have always praised how they pursue excellence while remaining in step with modern veterinary services.

Never go to this clinic if you are considering surgery. We took Smokey, our very healthy cat to the clinic to have his teeth cleaned and check other teeth for decay because his breath smelled bad and one of his teeth had fallen out. They pulled 8 teeth and did not give him antibiotics before or after the surgery. 3 days later he is gasping for air. We took him back and they put him on oxygen and took an x-ray. The vet said we could take him to the er in Des Moines, give him medication or euthanize him. We decided on medication which was antibiotics. He recovered until 3 weeks later he was gasping for air again. We did not take him back there, but went to the other clinic in town. They were much more caring and compassionate than the people at All Creatures Small. They tried everything to save Smokey but he grew weaker and weaker until we had to put him to sleep. Because of All Creatures Small's negligence in administering antibiotics we lost our beloved Smokey. I would highly recommend you not have surgery done at this clinic. We will never go back to this clinic. Read Less

My cat is an outdoor cat and in an effort to help control the pet population I decided to bring her in to get spayed and a rabies shot. Since she is an outdoor cat she is spends 90% of her life hunting for food she also probably spends a fair amount of time fighting with the regular strays that come around our property. This is why I was more than a little upset at the fact that they cut my cat's nails off while she was there!!? I informed them that she was an outdoor cat so you would think that they would know not to take away her only defense for living outside. In the end she made it through the surgery and seems to be doing well although I do feel like they were a bit overpriced. But in the end, she's alive and that's all that really matters. Update: it's almost like she has a hernia under her incision. Going to call them tomorrow. Kinda worried. Read Less

We just got a dog and she came from a very bad home we asked them to clip her nails and they gave her more torment then needed to be. I was told they were going to give her an anesthetic they didn't.
