I wanted to write a review for my pets new Veterinary Clinic and Hospital. My dogs, which I consider my kids, are my everything and I don't take their care lightly. My 8 year old male chocolate lab Buddy, looked like he had an abscessed tooth and I was looking for a new vet who would care for my pets like they were family and not just be a business of pushing medicine or not actually care for them. So I decided to give Kindness Pet Clinic a call after reading the great reviews. The staff immediately set up an appointment to bring Buddy in to be seen and told me what to bring (Buddy's vaccination records, , etc) from his previous vet and we met with Dr. Jayne. She was the nicest vet I have ever met. She was very calm around my boy (Buddy) and answered every last question and concern I had. After an extensive examination, Buddy ended up having a slab fracture of one of his upper teeth and it was infected and needed to be surgically removed/pulled. This was going to require him to immediately go on an antibiotic for the infection and then schedule him for surgery the following week. It was about a week or less later that I scheduled his surgery and on the day of it, Dr. Jayne introduced me to Dr. Scott (her husband) which would be the one performing the extraction and Heather also who was helping them out. They let me stay with Buddy for a little bit when I dropped him off as they gave him his first shot before surgery before taking him back to extract his tooth. While they were removing his tooth they also checked his other teeth and they cleaned and polished them as well as performed a nail trim. Dr. Jayne called about an hour after I had left Buddy to give me an update and let me know that Buddy's surgery went well and he was recovering just fine, and that I should call that afternoon before coming to pick him up. I called around 3 or 3:30pm as instructed and they said I could come pick Buddy up. The staff had me go into an exam room and Dr. Jayne came in and explained everything very thoroughly and she explained the dosage of pain medication (if needed) and the antibiotic she wanted me to give Buddy for a few more days. It has been a little over a month since surgery and Buddy is doing great. He has healed fine, and my family trusts Dr. Scott and Dr. Jayne at Kindness Pet Clinic, with our animals and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an honest, compassionate, caring, loving, kind, affordable, animal clinic for your pets. They won me over from some of the previous non-caring "vet businesses" we entrusted with our pets. Kindness Pet Clinic, is our new pet clinic and the drive really is worth it! I should mention too that my first time there that another person was leaving with her dog and asked me if I had ever been there before and I stated no, she said you will love them here at Kindness Pet Clinic, and told me that they had saved her dogs life. We do love our new Vets and staff, and Buddy and I want to say thank you to the Vets and staff at Kindness Pet Clinic! Read Less
