Before finding Dr. Kelly our beloved pet passed away which was a very heartbreaking sad time for our family . When the time felt right to get another fur-babies and a playmate for our other little dog we were in need of a vet that was closers to home than the vet we were previously going to which was a 30 min drive. We wanted somewhere closer because the Chihuahua puppy we were purchasing would not have any of its shots ... we would be responsible for all the new puppy vetting as well continued pet-care for our other little chi-pin . We were referred to Dr.Kelly from a family friend and have been pleased with him from day 1 . He's not the typical vet whom is hurry up get 'em in and get ' em out . He takes his time to educate and inform all the while is extremely gentle and through with our pets . He gave all of the first shots , worming , rabies shots etc. which are quite numerous and we also had both of them spay so we really got to know him not only on a professional level but also a personal level and there's no question of his love, loyalty and sincere compassion for animals !!! He's the type of Dr. that everybody should have not just wished existed... cause he does exist !! I'd have to say he's the cats meow !! Lol ( pun intended and I don't even have a cat .) He doesn't over charge either . Each receipt specifies each charge individually and there aren't any questionable charges !! Excellent care and a great person !!! Dr. Kelly Gochenour is the best vet I have ever been too. You can tell he LOVES animals. I started going to him when I loved in Omaha. It was worth the drive. The Omaha vet's all just wanted to sell something. I never felt they cared at all about my dogs. Kelly is the exact opposite. My bill is always much less than I expect and I feel he really cares. His support staff is just as loving to my pups. He gives good advice and actually talks to you about what you can do to prevent issues. I would drive from anywhere to give my dogs the care they need. Dr. Kelly has been our vet for many years and you will not find better. He knows how important peoples pets are to them and treats the owner and pets with respect. He talks to you in straight forward words like a family doctor. We would not trade him for anyone. Read Less
