I have been going to PCVH for 15+ years with 3 different dogs. All dogs have received the best of care. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Dr. Comito for the care he provides, and have had no one that has taken me up on the recommendation ever express anything but how good the care has been. He has made recommendations for diet changes instead of prescribing unnecessary salves, discussed options when one of my girls had cancer and performed some incredible surgery for her.Read Less

I adopted a dog from the ARL and was shown that Comito is on the list of verified Vet offices in the area. I was told by the ARL that the first vet visit is free if I went to a verified vet on the list. I called Comito's office and set up an appointment and communicated to Comito's office that I was having my roommate bring the dog in for the visit. My roommate arrives and they proceed with the exam. My roommate then calls me saying that the veterinarian will not allow the dog to leave unless he agrees to spend 100+ "on a few pills" because he looks "mangy" " he's definitely got mites" comito also said. I tried to explain to Dr Comito that I have a contract with the ARL to have any medical concerns with the first vet visit taken care of within the ARL. The ARL was very clear that they will not reimburse me for vet bills that could have been done in house. Comito then goes to say he "well you definitely don't take care of your dog". This dog has only been with me for three days.. he also says that he already "stuck him" for rabies without my authorization. He said he didn't need my authorization because of state laws. I have my roommate leave and return home. I then made a trip to the ARL with the dog and had them do a skin scrape and check for mites. The skin scrape showed no mites or infectious insects at all. Here's the kicker, on the medical documents handed to me by the ARL upon adoption is a note that the dog is being treated for allergic reaction to a previous flea related infection and was already on cephalexin. Dr. Comito was supplied all of these documents and still diagnosed my dog with mange without doing any sort of actual testing to Verify.(skin scrape test) After talking with comito on the phone and agreeing to pay for the unauthorized $15 rabies shot, he proceeds to tell my roommate "he's fired" as a client. I don't appreciate being Strong armed Comito. Fair warning to all returning and potential customers.Read Less

Dr. Cammito sometimes be quick and kind of short but he does know exactly what he's doing and if you want a vet that will tell you the truth about your animal and what treatment it does or does not need you will get it straight from him he does not beat around the bush or sugar coat anything Read Less

Dr. Comito is a great vet. He loves our Beagles (probably because he has one). He did a great job removing a lump from Bunny Beagle's backside and did let us know what could happen but we trusted him. She is doing just great. Read Less

The breeder I bought my Boxer from went here for some booster shots before I picked up my new pal. The breeder suggested I give the place a try and now I am glad I went.Dr. Comito really cares about your pet and his/her well being. He is an extremely nice man and takes the time to explain to you what is going on and thoroughly answers your questions. This was my first dog, so I had quite a few questions for him as I finished up the rounds of booster shots.It is a pretty small place and for me not that close, but the faith I have in Dr. Comito now will keep me going back. I know quite a few people with pets and from what I have heard the prices Dr. Comito has are very reasonable. Read Less
