Discovered Dr Janssen when I adopted my dog 5 years ago and needed a local vet. At the time, he was just doesn the street and had good reviews. I've kept going because he genuinely cares about the animals. No question I have is too dumb. I have called many times with a concern and get great advice. The staff is amazing and they treat my fur baby so well. I keep coming back, despite moving farther and farther away in the metro area because of how phenomenal the staff is.

The staff is super nice and helpful. We had no problem getting in to see the vet and was so good with our dog. Got him up to date with shots and everything and provided us with options and gave the dog a complete physical. Great vet super nice doctor and vet techs.

Got me an appointment fairly quick. When I got there, they almost immediately got me in to see a vet. They took tremendous care of my cat. All the staff seemed warm and welcoming.

Our Vet was closed, and this Vet was right down the street, so I decided to walk in and see if they were able to look at our dog who was in a lot of pain. They worked us in with a very minimal wait for walking in, and I don't think I've ever encountered a more caring and compassionate staff. They were upfront about all fees before doing anything, and absolutely wonderful. No unnecessary tests or fees. I can't say enough great things about them. ❤️ thank you so much!!

We took our big guy Sampson the bullmastiff to West Side Veterinary Clinic for the first time a couple of days ago. It was a wonderful experience. We didn't feel rushed at all as Dr. J and his staff got to know our big baby. They did a great job and we know that Sam will be happy to go back. I love this place! We started out here with our German Shepherd puppy. The secretaries greet you right away loving on your animals. So far the vaccinations have gone smoothly. Dr. Janssen answers every single question you have and informs you about things you don't know. They are a well priced place who care about your animal!

Took Tai to his first appointment; Dr. Janssen was great! He took the time to go over so much information. Dr. Janssen made us feel like Tai mattered to him just as much as he does to us. And Mary was super sweet. She cuddled with Tai. She even mentioned it will be fun to see how much he changes in a few weeks when we go back for our next appointment.

We have taken our fur babies to Dr. Janssen ever since he has been at this location. He has treated all of our "children" with the exception of 1. The entire team is fabulous and the treat my babies like their own. No question about it-my husband and I think they are the best and will continue to take our fur babies there. Highly recommended!

We absolutely LOVE West Side Veterinary Clinic and would highly recommend it to all our friends! Dr. Janssen, Mary, and Veronica are all so incredibly caring, knowledgeable and personable, they get even our scared-y cats to warm up to them. Always willing to take the extra time out of their schedules to help answer our array of questions, help order our pet products, and call to check in on us after one of our pets has had an out-of-norm episode, we can always count on Dr. Janssen and his team to treat our fur babies as if they were their own. Our minds rest easy knowing that our pets are getting the best care from individuals who truly have a passion about what they are doing. Thank you Dr. Janssen, Mary, and Veronica for everything you do for us!!

Discovered Dr Janssen when I adopted my dog 5 years ago and needed a local vet. At the time, he was just doesn the street and had good reviews. I've kept going because he genuinely cares about the animals. No question I have is too dumb. I have called many times with a concern and get great advice. The staff is amazing and they treat my fur baby so well. I keep coming back, despite moving farther and farther away in the metro area because of how phenomenal the staff is.

Our Vet was closed, and this Vet was right down the street, so I decided to walk in and see if they were able to look at our dog who was in a lot of pain. I love this place! We started out here with our German Shepherd puppy. The secretaries greet you right away loving on your animals. So far the vaccinations have gone smoothly.
